The three of us were drawn in based on the billboards on I-8. The ice cream didn't disappoint! The staff allowed us to sample before we made our choices. The employees were very engaging and knowledgeable. Highly recommend! And stop complaining about the cost, if you want an inferior scoop of store brand ice cream, buy that. This place makes a smooth, not too sweet, product with care.
Keep seeing as I am traveling to San Diego, but finally stopped in for a sweet treat. It's definitely a sweet treat indeed, very creamy and delicious. Very sweet if you like that type of ice cream. Lots of fun homemade flavors and options to choose from. Ambiance is quite loud and lots of families and kids when I went. Given this the service was great, would definitely recommend.
We stopped at Mooos Creamery for the second time on our annual Coronado trip. This place is AWESOME! Service was great...store was brightly decorated. So many yummy flavors of ice cream! My kids both got a milkshake: cinnamon cheesecake and Oreo cookie. My husband got pistachio and heath. I got pistachio and cinnamon cheesecake. All the selections were sooo delicious.
Diving back to Phoenix I had seen the highway billboard sign several times but was always in a hurry. Checked the reviews in Yelp. This time it was 108° and we were getting tired so we made sure to stop. The shop is set up nice, bright colors, ice cream themed, clean inside. Greeted when we came in. The menu and prices are clearly displayed. They seemed reasonable for homemade ice cream and after tasting it we were very happy. We ordered 2 scoops in a waffle cone and Monkey Butter sundae special. Both were delicious, the shop was well air conditioned and comfortable. The staff friendly and restroom clean. Great place to stop and get a cool treat.
The ice cream was good really good. Service warm and friendly. The young woman who served us was very friendly and allowed us to taste the flavors we wanted which is always a plus. Learning that they all are homemade it was no wonder it was really yummy and creamy. The ambiance is nice and open with tables to sit. The playful colors and ice cream characters on the wall and colors were really nice to see in an ice cream parlor. The prices are decent but the taxes here whew at a whooping 10.413% is definitely on the upper end. Getting a punch card definitely makes up for it once you get 6 punches your 7th ice cream is free.
I'm such a sucker for good ice cream and really cute ice cream shops. First time at Mooos creamery and I really liked it. Shout out to lady who allowed me to sample almost their entire flavors. My favorite for the day was the blueberry cheesecake. So rich of flavor and really creamy. I paired that with the biscoff cookie ice cream. One interesting flavor I tried was as their carrot cake ice cream, it had fresh grated carrots and tasted exactly like carrot cake but in ice cream form. I'll definitely be back. Just a lovely ice cream shop.

We were in Yuma for several days and were looking for things to do and checking out many business. My sister found this place on Instagram and wanted to check it out. Glad we did. I got the milk shakes with dates, which was really good. Our group order the Cookie Monster sundae, s'mores sundae. The decor inside was fitting for an ice cream shop. The tables were in the shape of ice cream cones. If you like to take picture, this is one place for that. A good hangout with friends.

Many flavors of ice cream to choose from. The Biscoff was AWESOME! Prices reasonable and portions generous. They sell ice cream in volume. We took a pint of sea salted caramel home to family. Yum! The Sundae Bench and ice cream cones table in the dining room were fun--especially for photo spots.

When you enter, it has the familiar feel of an ice cream shop. Food They have a lot of good flavors to choose from, so it was a difficult choice. I ended up going with Latte Love and Blueberry Cheesecake. Both were very good and went surprisingly well together. The ice cream was very creamy and packed with toppings. 5/5 Service There was quite the crowd inside, but the staff was fast and efficient, so there was little wait. They also indulged us in trying several samples to help us make our decision. 5/5 Ambiance As I said, Mooos had the typical feel of an ice cream shop. Nothing really to make it stand out over the rest of the crowd. It was clean, which is as important as anything. 4/5 Yuma seems to be full of hidden gems. I would say Mooos might be the best of them all. Definitely give it a try if you are in town.
DO NOT SKIP THIS PLACE IF YOURE IN YUMA!!!!! We were driving from San Diego to PHX and saw the billboard on I-8. I, of course, checked the Yelp reviews and knew we had to stop. We were stopping for gas anyway, so we decided to get ice cream too! There was a huge line literally in the middle of the day on a Saturday. If that doesn't tell you a place is good... so we waited 25 min for our ice cream. After I got it, I didn't even care. It was THAT GOOD. And I'm a self-proclaimed connoisseur of ice cream hehe. I sampled two flavors, both of which I ended up getting in my single scoop dish: cinnamon cheesecake and Oreo. I had never tried cinnamon cheesecake before, but this was delightful!! The cinnamon wasn't overpowering, and I *think* they make the cheesecake in house, as there were spring form pans everywhere. The Oreo was also amazing!! I am already ready to drive three hours just to go again! I originally thought the prices were a little high, but you get a lot of ice cream in a single, and it's home made with really high quality.

I ended up choosing the pistachio and blueberry cheesecake flavors. I really loved the blueberry cheesecake, but the pistachio wasn't my all time fav. Overall I would reccomend going for a sweet treat!

This place is the best ice cream in AZ (and California). It's our favorite spot to stop on our roadtrips from San Diego to Phoenix. Micheal is the owner and he makes all of the ice cream himself. All of the flavors are AMAZING and there's always a few creative and fun ones to choose. Abbey helped us decide which flavors to get and was really great and helpful. We will keep coming back! read more
This adorable ice cream shop is worth the stop! Mooo in the window greets guests. Ice cream themed EVERYTHING (paint, seats, tables, trash receptacle) makes this a quaint and enjoyable place to enjoy delicious, homemade ice cream. Try a sample then pick from a variety of cones or cup. read more

All I can say is "wow"! This was well worth the find, on our way out of Yuma. It seemed like everywhere we went, they had billboard's strategically placed to grab your attention. After winding up our day, we decided to go for some ice cream. This small place has very welcoming decor for the entire family. They have a good selection of ice cream but also offer specialties like sundae's and shakes. The staff was very welcoming and helpful in choosing our flavors. We all went with different flavors. My favorites were their Biscoff but especially the Oreo one (the best I've ever had). I highly recommend this place as it is reasonably priced as well. Even if you're not a big fan of ice cream, this place will definitely change your mind! read more

We road trip the I-8 from Tucson to San Diego several times a year, and Yuma is a regular gas/food stop. Saw th billboard on the 8 and decided to stop and get some ice cream. Mooos ice cream is hands down some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted. It's now a regular stop in Yuma. Gas, snacks, Mooos ice cream. Tucked away in an unassuming strip center, the interior is bright, cheery and has a retro funky carnival vibe. The containers vary from cups to chocolate dipped waffles cones with Jimmie's. The ice cream is to die for. We've chatted with the owner. One stop we sampled the Dutch apple pie. He said his wife bakes the apple pies from scratch, them they break up the pie to add it to the ice cream. That is awesome! Moos is Awesome! read more

The icecream here is to die for! Thick, creamy, amazing flavors. We usually try and stop by every time we are in Yuma! GOLD STAR FOR USING REAL PISTACHIOS AND NOT ALMONDS IN THE PISTACHIO ICECREAM! Decor is so fun! Kids love it, adults love it, it's fun silly and overall a good time! Service is usually mid. They always seem stressed which is reasonable with such a big shop and usually one 1-2 people working. read more
