Their pastries are amazing but even more so are their individual meals. One of which is their lasagna, which is absolutely amazing. Tastee Bites is well known for its catering so I asked for a tray of their lasagna and a no-bake cheesecake. They did an amazing job, the lasagna and the cheesecake were absolutely amazing. This is a definately must visit for anyone living or visiting Yuma, Arizona.

I've heard positive things about Maranito Cakes, they've become popular among people with dietary restrictions. Many of Maranito Cakes' recipes call for the use of health inspired ingredients like almond flour and coconut sugar. So, I reached out to Manuel Acosta the owner of Maranito Cakes. Acosta was friendly, polite, and attentive. He told me that the inspiration for the bakery was derived from his own dietary restrictions. Acosta told me that his recipes come from his mother and his wife, who inspire him to create healthy foods with great taste. I ordered the banana-walnut loaf which is made of almond flour and coconut sugar. The sweetness was subtle, but where it lacked sweetness the banana and walnut flavors fused to make the dessert a memorable one. Since they deliver, they do not have a brick and mortar, just yet. But knowing them the ambiance will be amazing, homey and vibrant. We will have to stay tuned for that one.

There are various items for sale by other local vendors- goat soap bars, honey, etc. The organic coffee is imported from Mexico. The prices are rather steep, especially for Yuma. A small 16oz latte starts at $6.50. If you're a black coffee/cold brew drinker, then prices are reasonable. If you're like me and you prefer some milk/flavor, then add $1 for oat milk. Another .50 for flavored syrup= $8.50 for a 16oz spiced iced brown sugar latte. It was a good latte, but $8.50 is too much and I can see that being hard to justify for most folks.

Their farm sells lots of…read moredifferent local honey, eggs, soaps, baked goods (pretzels, bagels, breads, cookies, muffins), and some fun goodies like shirts, stickers, scrunches too! Their sweet pup was in the store too and very friendly. I love how they have a huge beehive on display and if you spot the queen bee, they give you a sticker for it. (I couldn't find her this time but I'm determined to next visit.) The little boutique store is so cute! We will definitely be shopping here again soon.
