Fillings come straight from big Food service tubs and while the items in the case look awesome the flavors are predominantly preservatives. The fruit bars are the ONLY item worth buying here. How can a CreamPuff fresh from the case be tough? Nasty! And the chocolate on top is Nothing out of the ordinary. I had a very poor experience at Goldsboro recently. I was accused of leaving without paying a $17 bill. I had in fact paid $20 as I tipped. When I came in a couple days later the server claimed I hadn't paid my bill on the prior visit. She did this in front of other customers . I started to explain I had in fact given her $20 on a $17 dollar bill but got a bit irritated when she started rolling her eyes and involving others! This should have been handled differently and by a manager. In fact I just put down another $17 and left! Obviously that was a matter that should have been handled differently, and only by a mgr after auditing the cash for that day which would have shown they were't short that amount. I will not go back, and will never recommend this business! read more

Recently moved to Yuma and found this gem. Goldsboro donuts are bomb! The best ones are the whipped cream filled donuts, but they sell out around 11am. They had a special today, $8 for a dozen from the donut case which included cinnamon roles & sticky buns. Service was amazing the first time around, today was so-so. Only donuts I wouldn't recommend from here are the maple bars/donuts, they just taste like powdered sugar. Everything else is delicious. Best donut joint in Yuma! read more

I'm wondering if many people actually knew of or have tried the breakfast and lunch specials. Today, I think I just ate one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had! It was seasoned perfectly. There was the perfect ratio of meats to eggs to cheese, wrapped in a big flour tortilla. Their specials are definitely well worth your 5-6 bucks. The staff is amazing! They are polite, friendly, not over the top. So everyone should know their kitchen closes at 2pm... but they're open to 6pm. Anyways, whoever helped me was very unpleasant. Seemed like she really didn't want to be there & was discourteous towards me and my daughter. I was unaware their kitchen closed at 2pm, so I'm purchased croissants. My experience at Goldsboro Bakery was great. The staff were very friendly. It was around noon, and I just wanted to take home a few donuts for family that would be driving in from Phoenix later. Since it was noon, they gave me a discount on a dozen. I was going to get plain glazed, and they recommended that I try some of their specialty donuts. I got the donuts home, and OH MY GOSH! If these are the "discounted" donuts, I can't imagine how delicious fresh ones are. I highly recommend the buttermilk donut. ALWAYS come here when in Yuma. Much nicer since they moved to a new location across the street from their old location. When we first discovered they had vacated the old location, we stood around staring at their old door like a kid whose parents have moved out while he was at the movies. Then we became aware of the faint sound of someone yelling... it was employees across the street madly waving their arms to get our attention that they had moved... across the street. That's when we noticed the BIG flag fluttering in the breeze, announcing their new location... across the street. LOL how embarrassing. I was stressed about a bakery since I'm not familiar with bakeries in Yuma, but I decided to give Goldsboro a call and they were extremely helpful.The girl over the phone (I forgot her name, Michelle I think) was very helpful and let me pay by card over the phone. She also had me send in a copy of my baby shower invitation so they could match the design on the cake. The cake came out so cute!! And it was yummy--vanilla chocolate chip.
