Twice this winter I have paid $30+ to have coats cleaned only to find stains/spills still on them when I picked them up. I wish I had found them sooner! Or I guess I wish I had needed them sooner. With Covid I had been wearing less dry clean only garmets. Since weddings are back on we've been bringing everything to them. Unfortunately we've since moved out of state. In the chaos of the move we left 4 really important garmets at Moore Cleaners and didn't even realize it. A silk dress, 2 piece suit and pashmina from India. I used to love this place. Moore Cleaners has changed ownership for the second time since I started using it 10 years ago. Their interest in customer service is now non-existent if you have any kind of issue. I picked up two normal cotton shirts today and they insisted on charging me $10/shirt because they had dry cleaned them. This was without instructions from me, and something they would not normally do. I asked for the manager, and she couldn't explain why they dry cleaned two shirts, but explained that they would not change the charge because after all, they had dry cleaned them. I explained that I would no longer use them if they did not do so, but they did not have the slightest interest in trying to accomodate me. I also promised to provide this negative review and that aroused absolutely no interest. So here is that review. Be forewarned. read more

Moore's is amazing. Family-owned and operated and you can tell. Always sweet people there to greet and help you. As a service member, we have to dry clean our service uniforms very frequently for uniform inspections and events. I always choose Moore for my uniforms! The sign in front says "Since 1927," so I assume this is a long-time tradition, but they dry clean service uniforms for free and it means a lot to us how they choose to honor us and thank us for our service in that way. I have even tried tipping them with cash and she wouldn't accept it. A very honorable and traditional establishment with a reliable service. read more

Okay, Okay, I resist change. I had perfectly good cleaners for 20 years and they closed/retired. What is this clothes horse to do? I began a tour of cleaners in my vicinity to find the perfect cleaner, and well, I feel silly. Moore Cleaners is considerably CLOSER to me than my old cleaner, in fact I PASSED it every time I drove to my old cleaner, plus Moore Cleaners has been there for decades....So I feel silly. I tested Moore with clothing, then coats, then draperies and comforters. I tested dry cleaning, hand washing, and laundry. Everything came back immaculate and crisply pressed and perfect. My draperies seriously came back 2-3 shades lighter..... And the price? Reasonable. For clothing, most pieces are well under the $10 per piece some other places have charged me. The cleaners do not know me yet by name which is a little thing that is super nice when it happens, but they are friendly, efficient, quality, and on time! I really want to like Moore Cleaners-it's so close to our house and we like trying to support local spots. But our clothes never come back clean. My husband and I have had to return clothes multiple times for being dirty still or not pressed well. I brought in a dress with a coffee stain (pretty typical-still fresh and not huge) and they returned the dress with the stain still clearly visible. I brought it back and not only did they try and charge me again but they wanted me to sign a waiver to remove the stain. This was a basic cotton dress. And this has happened with my husband's work shirts as well. It's not worth bickering with them and having to inspect every item once we get home. Bummer. read more

Moore Cleaners came through in the clutch for me. I was literally on my way to the airport and needed a suit quickly pressed and spot cleaned. They took care of me in 30 minutes and I was able to make the flight for the wedding. I will be using them on a regular basis for all my dry cleaning needs. read more

As a follow up, I continue to come to this dry cleaner and am pleased with the service. Last week I picked up a shirt and when I got home I noticed that there were still some spots on it. My husband and I were looking for a dry cleaners near our place in Englewood and stumbled upon Moore Cleaners per previous yelp reviews. But our experience was not a positive one. I hadn't taken clothes to get dry cleaned for about 3 weeks so we had about 20 items, 11 sweaters and 9 dress pants. The dress pants were fine, nothing special, but way over priced!!! Over $5/pant, for what??? They didn't look any different than other places that charge $3-$4. My sweaters that were all new btw...ALL SHRUNK! Brand new clothes now all short in the arms and waist....I hand washed them when I got home and was able to re-stretch some of them...but I will NEVER use this place again. I never had clothes shrink from dry-cleaning! I can only assume they washed my clothes instead of dry-cleaning them. And the sweaters were all about $6...again, why so expensive?? The guy that I dropped my clothes off too was also very unfriendly! He didn't offer to help me count my clothes or anything. Just stood there and then gave me a ticket. Not very good impression from the start, should have grabbed my clothes then...but I would highly recommend finding another place! read more

This is the first and only dry cleaners I've used in Denver. I researched others and this one is great quality for how reasonably priced it is - if you're on a budget, def come here. They do a phenomenal job and have always been early with their pickups. They do have same day service. I usually take my clothes in early morning and they are ready later that day or the next day. I had grease stains on my pants for over a week, and all of the stains came out! If they notice stains on your clothes, they will call and ask if you'd like them to treat them as well. Nicole is wonderful! I had purchased an item out of town & when I opened my suitcase, a hair product had leaked on it causing color bleed. Miraculously, they were able to fix it after trying 1 method, then a 2nd method. And, I was only charged the normal cleaning price! This place is the worst! I dropped off an article of clothing, told the employee that it had a possible stain and I was responded with don't worry we will take care of it. Two weeks goes buy, I go to pick up my clothing item and was told they couldn't get the stain out, it needed to be wet cleaned. They wanted me to pay for two cleanings! Should have done it right the first time! They also could have had the decency to call me as soon as they were aware the stain didn't come out to discuss the next option. read more

I brought in a pair of summer white Navy uniforms that were very tarnished from water damage with mold growing everywhere. They managed to miraculously clean the uniforms extremely well and now they are spotless. To top it all off they thanked me for my service and gave me a discount on the amazing work. Not a very good job cleaning clothes. I've brought several items to them that had minor stains, asked them if they could take care of it. They've said yes every time. The first two times I got home before I realized the stains hadn't been taken out -- no one mentioned that the stains couldn't be fixed when they were charging me. The last two times I actually checked while in the store, and got no apology - just "nope, couldn't fix it, that will be $15". Well, today was the last time I'm going to hear that. read more

I brought a silk scarf to be dry cleaned, thinking it would be a good test run before bringing all of my other clothing here. After picking it up and inspecting the job, I notice significant runs throughout the whole scarf, and I am so disappointed. It ruined the scarf, which had been a gift. Therefore, I received depreciated compensation (it was less than a year old) and am having a hell of a time finding the same scarf to replace it. So disappointing. They didn't even refund me the dry cleaning job which was what ruined it. read more

My $80 shirt was ruined and Moore Cleaners wouldn't step up. I had a black shirt that need to be dry cleaned. I had had it cleaned a number of times, including a couple of times at Moore, without any problem. But then one time when I picked it up it smelled as if it hadn't been cleaned properly, so I asked that it be dry cleaned again. They were not at all happy about that, but they reluctantly agreed. When I picked it up and took it home from the re-cleaning I found that what had been a uniformly dark black shirt was suddenly a mottled, dark grey mess. I took the shirt back to Moore and they kept it while they "investigated." Ultimately they told me that it was normal fading. I don't find it at all believable that a shirt can remain dark, even black for multiple cleanings then suddenly fade dramatically and unevenly to the point that it is unwearable in a single cleaning. It seems obvious to me that Moore screwed up. I've rarely had any problem with any dry cleaner ever, but on the few occasions that I have the cleaner always stepped up and replaced the garment. All Moore would do was offer to do my next order for free. That would've come out to $10-$20 for a ruined $80 shirt, but I won't use them again even for free. There are too many good dry cleaners who will stand behind their work for me to ever again use Moore. read more
