The previous caterers I spoke with couldn't give me ideas! I was shocked. But Tracy knew exactly what I wanted and made perfect suggestions! The food was delicious, the chicken salad on petite croissants was excellent. Then she had two other finger sandwiches of egg salad on marbled pumpernickel and Ricotta and cucumber on wheat that were also excellent. We had penne pasta salad with roasted tomatoes, asparagus and artichokes with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and a chopped Romain salad with blueberries, grapes and goat cheese with a lemon vinaigrette that was soooo yummy. Even though this was a very small luncheon with only 15 people, the quality was still superb. I couldn't have been happier and I am very picky. I would highly suggest Tracy and Bennetts Catering for your event's catering needs.

The wedding was beautiful. We had approx 120 guests (seated) using the boathouse and tent (with walls) and there was enough room for everyone and an area for a dance floor (this was actually my biggest concern when booking this venue because it appears to be on the small side). The boathouse has a new beautiful pier/dock and many of my guests were able to watch a pod of dolphins swim around (got some great pics of them) along with a super nice sunset. The only thing I would have done differently is that I would have hired golf cart drivers so that the elderly guests wouldn't have had to walk so far from the ceremony site and parking lot (no biggy, we used a car). Had no issues with neighbors, in fact some of the neighbors sat on the porch to watch the ceremony, which I thought was really cool. The neighborhood does have a curfew of 11pm, so our reception ended at 9:30pm. I was okay with this because I was actually pretty tired by then. A huge plus is that the boathouse is available at 8:00am. So we were able to begin decorating early. I couldn't have been happier with The historic Wilbur Boathouse!
