The rehab loan depended on it in order to proceed. We met Roman at the property, told him what we wanted and what we had to work with. The guy did not seem interested in being there at all to me. I ended up walking away and letting my wife talk. At the end, he said we'd have a bid from him in a week. That week came and went... NOTHING..... I called. He said he'd get his notes to me by the end of the day to make sure we were on the same page. No surprise, I didn't get that Email as promised. Days later, I get his notes. We confirm, YES this is what we want to do. We didn't hear back from him until a month later when we got an Email stating they aren't taking any new jobs. All I have to say is it's a damned good thing we gave up on contractors to get back to us and went with a conventional loan instead of the 203k we started with. What the hell is wrong with contractors in this area?? Nobody seems like they want to work. They all say they'll get back to you but it's crickets from there.

I had to purchase a new refer one with No HOSES ever again. Rick as usual is detailed, works very hard, attention to all details, we took off the old base board which was MDF, and got real wood base boards. Found wood rot behind the stove as well, un leveled flooring in the laundry area. Everything was well done, and it wasn't a job that was done in 1 day, more 4 total days, with no breaks. His advice which I asked for, the best would vinyl planks, and that's what we did. I have a rowdy family, 2 dogs. I needed something that would hold up and not tear like that cheap crap I paid for from Empire flooring. It wasn't even a 1 mm thickness. Anyway Happy to write this review. He shows up when he says he is going to, is reliable, and detailed. Old fashioned quality without gauging your pockets.
