Loose Deuce Septic & Tank Services

This is going to be a long review but I wanted to help other potential customers get some idea of…read morewhat kind of work this company does. In one word - exceptional! I called Loose Deuce Septic & Tank Services and was scheduled promptly for a tank pump the following week. Shawn and Cayton, Shawn's son, arrived at the promised time and began to lay out their equipment and materials. I noticed they were careful to protect all our plants and house. They laid out tarps on the grass for protection and began searching for the tank. It was uncanny how quickly Shawn found the tank. Soon there was a pile of dirt and sod on one of the tarps. I noticed that Shawn pieced out the sod carefully and laid them on the tarp in the exact orientation that he removed them. The tank was full of solids which Shawn said was not a good sign. They pumped the tank and the Shawn went down a ladder into the tank. He blasted the walls and floor with water and inspected everything. He noticed that the inlet and outlet pipes were loose in their tank holes. More digging! The outlet tank pipe to the distribution box and the tank inlet pipe were quickly exposed and two more piles of dirt and sod were placed carefully placed on tarps. Shawn cut new sections of pipes since they old pipes were cracked and leaking into the soil surrounding them. He mortared these pipes both inside and outside the tank and distribution box to keep them secure. He cleaned out the distribution box. The holes were then filled and everything was left exactly as if they had never been there. Shawn and Cayton are diligent, honest, friendly, hard workers with a great sense of humor. They do the job right and at a very reasonable price. You clearly understand the cost of their service and if the scope of the job changes they are up front with the revised cost. They are true professionals, knowledgeable in all aspects of their business. They are the kind of people that make you feel like you are part of their family. I highly and without reservation recommend Loose Deuce Septic & Tank Services for your septic needs!

They got back to me right away, and scheduled an appointment for the next day to pump our two tanks. They arrived a little early, which was great, and did a fantastic job on both of the tanks. I've included some before, and after pictures that they provided, as well as looking at them visually from when they were completed, and the difference is astounding. Not only did they remove the waste, but they cleaned both tanks. In addition, Loose Deuce performed some cleaning and maintenance on our main house tank, that is a dual chamber 1500 gallon tank. I've included photos of the difference, and they also showed me how to perform maintenance on them as well as how often. They also set up email reminders on a schedule for us, to avoid letting them go too far before pumps. Shawn and his crew are also super nice and helpful. They went above and beyond for an extremely reasonable price. I like to support small, local businesses and Loose Deuce is a great example of why. Exceptional service and results. They are now my go to for our home!

I finally got the last of my 27 year old home water system upgraded…read more Mike came out and set me up with a temporary fix for a failing system. When he was done he grabbed a raw water sample to be analyzed for hardness among other things. With this info they were able to build the correct system for the proper treatment of my well water. We scheduled an install appointment and everything went very smooth. I was even out of town but Oregon Water Services has already earned my complete trust in their services. Knowing I was out of town, Mike still left me a voicemail letting me know he was arriving to swap out my softening system. When he was done he even texted me a pic of the completed work and let me know it was done, left me the instructions manual, programmed the system for me and even advised me on the proper salt for the new system! This new system is incredible! I had no idea that there could be such a difference in quality of water between a 1996 system and a 2022 system. My water was already clear, so it was surprising to see that it seemed even cleaner and tastes better. It even feels different in the shower. This upgrade makes me wish I had done it sooner. Thanks Mike and Oregon Water Services! Excellent work and excellent results once again!

I got a ladder, screwdriver and hammer and removed three downspouts myself He power jetted two drains which he couldn't clear and just ran my hose down the third drain reporting that it wasn't clogged. For this I had to write a $250 check, and when I gently complained about paying so much for no results, I wad told that operating the power jet drain unclogger was expensive After he left I discovered the third drain WAS clogged. He left dirt backsplatter on me white garage door, driveway and garage wall after he pulled the jet out of the drain while under power. I had to give him a couple towels to clean his upper body When he left I had to clean up and replace the downspouts myself. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Who shows up to a job without tools??? Ever heard if stopping by the hardware store??? We've been using Conser Quarry for years now…read more David is an excellent driver for Conser, he can manipulate that Mack Truck like nobody's business. His ability to get the gravel exactly where I want it and the evenness of the spread he can do is phenomenal. The office staff are always pleasant to deal with and their communication skills are excellent. Their scheduling is incredibly punctual. When they say between 8-9am, you better be ready by 8am. Our driveway is very rural and approximately 1/3 of a mile long. Originally our driveway was just a rough base of some gravel mixed with dirt. We started with '3/4 minus' (3/4" gravel with gravel dust). Over the years the the potholes always returned during the rainy season. Conser Quarry has it all, so we switched over to '3/4 open'. '3/4 open' is still the same size gravel but without the gravel dust. In many situations the gravel dust consolidates like concrete and helps convert your driveway into an almost paved one. Our ground here though gets so soft during the rains that we switched to the open gravel. This material then presses down into the mud and builds up a strong support layer. Now our driveway and turnaround no longer get muddy or potholes. We get a couple loads of '3/4 open' every few years to build up the base. Now our driveway is sufficiently higher than the field and is above the winter mud.
