We had this company come out to clean up a crawlspace. There was nasty insulation in there, which they removed. They did a mold cleanup and followed standard mold cleanup procedures like setting up a fan to keep negative pressure, sealed the cracks where air could come in, etc. We had some hiccups due to an unusual material my walls are made of, but they came back to fix the problem. I can't thank John and Danny enough. After having numerous others come out to give us a quote on working in a very tight crawlspace, digging out a bunch of dirt, and laying down vapor barrier, only these guys came thru. The others companies said they wouldn't do it. We finally have a clean and protected crawlspace. We will be having Danny and John installing a dehumidifier in the crawl next month. Used Moore Home Services through a home purchase, unfortunately, on a poor recommendation from a house inspector. About $7,000 worth of crawl space "encapsulation" paid for and less than $4,000 of value received, we think. Poor workmanship, low quality materials, lack of attention to detail, and no responsiveness when the crummy job is point out: no attempt to adhere to the invoice with its list of specifications. Instead of $1,200 of dehumidifier we got a $219 Walmart GE model; and a cheap remote hygrometer arrived after 3 months ($19 at Acurite). Four metal support struts to replace the wooden beams never supplied, $469 paid for nothing. And services trenches hardly a couple of inches deep for $1,350. Avoid this firm, our opinion. Dealing with Jon Moore and Danny Moore was less than pleasant. Avoid this firm and save money and hassle, our recommendation. read more

Used Jonathon once about a year ago on our rental property and he was great. Did fine work for a reasonable price. Asked him to review the property for us this time around and let us know what needs doing before a new tenant moves in. Missed ALOT of stuff and billed for some stuff he never completed. Left us dealing with new tenants wondering why some things were broken, some junk left behind. Very dissappointing and embarassing to us. read more
