This is a great opportunity to get to know the character of Rockport. It's an artistic, eclectic community, and the festival shows this off! There's all kinds of great art booths selling cool paintings, clothing, signs and other great works of art. All the greatest local businesses come out and show off their wares! There is also a gumbo competition! Rockport is known for its seafood- the gumbo here is heavenly. You can go to the competition, and get cups for a few bucks each and try them all. The live music is always on key- with different acts each night. It focuses on country music. There's also a midway, where you can ride the rides! Loopty-loops and Gravitrons abound! Yeehaw! There's plenty of restrooms and lots of beer available (all of it is in 16oz containers!) Be sure to check out this festival and see the best of Rockport!

Adaptive Reuse?! I am so impressed by the reuse of this space from an old concrete production plant…read more(?) to a music venue. The design of the space is noteworthy. First there are two stages. The smaller stage is housed within an old building that looks like a farm shed. The use of industrial materials that don't stray from the historical use and feel of the space is quite beautiful. Corrugated sheet metal is seen throughout the design and even within the restrooms to form stalls. Industrial ceiling fans keep the space cool along with garage door openings flanking 2 sides. There is an elevated platform along the back with small tables which is the VIP section. Picnic tables sit in front of the VIP section for a small section of seating. The liquor selection is limited, but the bartenders were friendly and willing to mix up what they could with the limitations. I had the pleasure of seeing one show here while in CC. I've been told that it is a great space to see larger acts especially when they perform at the bigger stage outside. All in all, this is a very hip space to see music. 5 stars is for adaptive reuse of a space CC, Texas. Very cool!

The staff have always been friendly to me and i've always had a good time here. When I go though, I usually get dropped off by someone else because it's downtown and their parking is limited if it's a packed show. They've brought us Deftones, FFDP, Megadeth, Smashing Pumpkins, lots of country, quite a few big name bands/artists without the American Bank Center prices.

I told her my son has been level 3 mastered for months. The coaches won't move him up. She changed him to level 4 classes and I scheduled 12 for the rest of the month. My wife took him today, Friday June 06, 2025, he has been wanting to ring that bell for months to finally be level 4. He goes there excited and they tell him he can not ring the bell and is still level 3. They have been telling us this for months, even after a manager moved him to level 4. He came home really sad and as a parent I was upset. I am not taking him there anymore just for more disappointment. Also, one of the coaches told my wife if she pays another $175 he can be fast tracked to level 4. What the heck!?!?! I am asking for a refund of the 12 classes he is not going to attend this month.

Held at the Art and Culture center, this event was perfect: perfect weather, perfect parking, plenty of food trucks, plenty of beer, plenty of restrooms, plenty of seating and perfect setting (on the bay!). Compared to other beer festivals I've been to, this is one of the best in terms of overall value, setting, ambiance and variety. Our original plan was to visit a friend for her birthday and then all us go to the beer fest. After our experience, looks like we'll be making this an annual pilgrimage, forget her birthday!
