I wish there was a zero star option. I went to their sample sale in March to purchase my wedding dress. I picked out the perfect dress that had a smoke lining to it in my eyes. The entire time I was with the consultant I was saying that I didn't want a white dress. However, when I received the dress it was completely white and I felt pushed out of the store and told that the dress only came in one color. Believing it might have been the lighting I left the store since they were not helping me. When I got home and did some research I realized that there was in fact 2 colors. I didn't understand that "LATTE" was the color of the dress I tried on and simply signed the contract with the color "IVORY." I told the consultant that the sample dress I tried on was what I wanted and when she gave me the contract stating Ivory, I believed that was the color of the sample dress. When I made a complaint to the store, the manager didn't make any arrangements to meet with me face to face. She said it was my responsibility as a customer to review the contract with the consultant. After countless emails back and forth I decided to keep the dress and pay for alternations myself to put in a smoke colored lining. They did not offer a suitable solution. I only ever heard great things about this bridal store so I was looking forward to my appointment but I left very disappointed. My consultant Ashley could have cared less about me and what I wanted. I came in very open to ideas and suggestions but she only pulled a couple dresses in one style and when I did not like them, she said she did not have anything else for me. My mom went to look for dresses with her and found that they did not have much of a selection and that the quality of the dresses were not great. The consultant also continually pointed out that I did not fit into the sample size dresses, which does not help in enjoying the process. Another lady came in and tried to help but but bombarded me with so many questions that I felt overwhelmed. Overall, the store did not have a nice vibe to it. It seemed as if they were trying to come off as fancy, but just came off as cold and inexperienced. When we went to leave the consultant did not say goodbye or even acknowledge us and gave us attitude when we asked for some more information on a couple of the dresses such as price. I left with a very negative and disappointing experience. I would absolutely not recommend this store to anyone. read more

My experience at Novia Mia was top notch! After being in a number of other bridal and gown shops over the years, when I walked into Novia Mia I was thrilled with the boutique environment that they had to offer. The semi-private rooms were styled beautifully and provided plenty of space both for trying on dresses as well as for those who came along to participate. It was my very first time trying on dresses, and I was far from expecting to find my dress! The experience was a perfect combination of private with required help in that Tanis was present whenever I needed her but allowed for personal space when trying on dresses. This was much different than what I expected from reading other stores' reviews. From start to finish Tanis did everything she possibly could to exceed my expectations. I experienced the "yes" moment (tears and all), but wanted to think about the purchase before returning later to do so. I felt absolutely no pressure or attempt on Tanis' part for me to exceed my budget or to purchase a dress on that day if I was not confident in my decision! Overall, I would highly recommend Novia Mia if you are looking for that 'fairytale' bridal experience, as they are sure to deliver! read more
