    Drawer before

He repaired a dresser drawer like new. His price was fair also. I'll definitely bring more of my projects to him. You can't see from the picture but underneath was broken off completely and the side board was very warped. It fits perfectly now

Excellent craftsmanship! We had a mid century credenza that has been in our family for over 50 years. He was able to restore it to its natural beauty. We are so grateful!

I bought a George Nelson compact credenza from Danny, a local dealer with "Modern for All" located in Upland, CA. A few weeks later I discovered that Danny had Aaron from Moore's Refinishing restore my credenza. Aaron had posted a "before and after" reel of his amazing talents. I was then hooked on Aaron's skills and when I found my favorite desk that I've wanted for the longest time by Peter Lovig , but it needed plenty of help to bring it back to its previous original glory I couldn't think of anyone or trust anyone else to bring it back to life. Aaron is not only a pleasure to talk with but an over-all awesome guy. Talk about the amount of knowledge he has with Mid-Century furniture and the ability to restore them. Seeing the before and after photos speak for themself.

Completely restored my vintage Brazilian rosewood couch to perfection.

Aaron is amazing to work with and his results are unbelievable. Grateful to have found Moore's Refinishing.

Before - if you at it in you sank to the ground because the springs were so bad.

Aaron worked with me every step of the way when refinishing my great grandfather's rocking chair. He listened to what I wanted and gave suggestions. He was even able to give me information about the time period of the piece. Aaron recommended an upholsterer, and arranged for the chair to be transported from his ship to the other. It turned out amazing and will now be able to be passed down to future generations.

    After

What a great experience we had. Arron refinished and repaired the over 100 year old chairs that had belonged to my grandmother. Extensive repairs were needed and now the chairs look amazing! Highly recommend this business. Arron knew more about the style of chairs than I did!

Aaron and his team are meticulous when it comes to refinishing pieces. Very knowledgeable when it comes to the types of wood and has extensive experience when working with solid woods, plywoods, veneer, etc. You name it, he can handle it! One of the very few people I constantly bring pieces too! HIGHLY recommend!

Called and Aaron picked up. Sound like a great guy, very up beat. I had a good feeling about bringing my 1980s table to get it restored. Aaron asked me to send him some pictures for a ball park estimate. And was shocked what Aaron texted me back. He was so rude and made a very Sentimental value table like it was crap and meaningless. Yes! It looks like crap but it means something to me. that's why I'm coming to you to restore it. I wonder if arron was expecting something new? I've posted up the text message to see Arron responses. So dont expect to bring something old or meaningful to this place. They will make your item feel like crap and worthless.

I have had Moor's refinish pieces, a cabinet that was my Aunts and teak table my dad had built, both turned out really nice.

Thankfully they waived the fee. I trusted that they would do a good job based on their portfolio. They were accurate in their timeline for the completion of the project and the resulting hutch looks fantastic, I have no complaints there. The main reason I am giving this business two stars is because their communication leaves A LOT to be desired. I asked for progress photos as they were working on the piece in their shop. They never sent pictures until I had to follow up and ask for them. They knew ahead of time that they were going to need to deliver my piece urgently because they were going to need all the space in their shop for their next project. Yet, they did not communicate this with me until the very last minute, what were they going to do with my piece if I was unavailable for delivery when they needed it gone? That seemed like poor planning to me. Upon the initial quoting of the piece, I specifically asked them to not only have the main mirror replaced by their third party, but also have the antique locks repaired. I provided them with a key that fit the lock to aid in this process. They returned my piece to me with not only the lock issue not addressed, but also with one of the cabinet doors not fully functional (which is not how it was when they took the piece at the beginning). I had to report this issue after they had already left. It was only then that he recommended I contact his third party locksmith to resolve the issue. His recommended locksmith (Sav-Mor Lock & Key) has been completely unresponsive, and I can't find other locksmiths who specialize in antique locks. I then asked Haer where is the key that I gave them when they picked up the hutch, and it was only THEN that they told me they tried to test the key in one of the locks and a piece of the key broke off and is STILL currently stuck in one of the locks (they also didn't specify which lock they tested either). I am extremely disappointed and frustrated because I clearly specified all my needs before they accepted the project, and now I received an incomplete service. They have also stopped responding to my communications completely, which I find outrageous and irresponsible. I also got the impression that working on my project was a chore for them, as if I didn't pay top dollar for them to give me their best work. Again, in terms of their actual craftsmanship, Jose (who I believe did most of the work) did a great job. However, communication is a huge factor in determining who I award my business to, and based on my experience I wouldn't feel comfortable trusting them with another one of my projects.
