I ordered a chaise foam cushion replacement from an online company and they had a 1.5 inch tolerance. They actually measured one side even longer than their tolerance making it impossible to put the cushion in. I called Peter and he responded right away and scheduled me in for next day drop off. 2 days later, I had my new cushion back cut to perfection to my old cushion. (I did bring my old cushion in). I have a dining room table and chair set that is dish furniture made of solid rosewood that my family purchased in the mid 70s and has been in my family ever since. The 10 chairs still had the original wool upholstery on them, which had survived myself and my sister, my sister's son, and my three son as we all grew up eating in it daily but this year they finally gave up the ghost. Given this history getting the job done right and with without damaging, the chairs was my top priority. When I brought in the first chair, I didn't even need to explain the quality, Peter looked at it and said wow they don't make them like this anymore. Where did you find this? Once I explained the backstory, he assured me he appreciated the build quality and would make sure that he did not damage them. We searched on yelp for a number of different upholstery places and quality furniture service was at the top of the list for us to consider given the wonderful reviews. We stopped by to talk to Peter and get an estimate. We were planning to go home and talk to other stores, but we felt so comfortable with Peter we decided to just go ahead and give him our business. The communication between us and Peter was timely and efficient and always polite. The quality of work they did was amazing. As I said these chairs have been in my family for over 40 years and I want to pass them down to my children the quality of the craftsmanship is that good. Now that they have been reupholstered I don't know if this new upholstery will last another 40+ years, but if it doesn't, it won't be because of Peter and his teams skill it will be because they just don't make the same quality of upholstery that they used to. All in all, I would hardly recommend the entire Quality Furniture Services team to anyone who has some furniture they want reupholstered, and they want it done, right. read more

We ordered custom dining benches (banquettes) from Pottery Barn. They are solid and heavy. We realized after delivery that we needed casters/wheels installed so we can easily move them around to be able to vacuum under the dining table. Pottery Barn should have made this an option. We tried installing casters ourselves ordering them from Amazon but none of them worked. We found this company in Yelp with high ratings and outstanding reviews so we contacted them.
