They were quick with a response through Yelp and even followed up with me directly before reaching out to my grandmother. Not only were they thorough in explaining the estimate and repair process, they followed up multiple times to try and schedule an appointment -- only wish grandma would have put in her hearing aids a little sooner to answer their calls! Ultimately, she decided that purchasing a new vinyl recliner might be more frugal but is looking forward to having them come out and repair a leather recliner once she's got her new furniture delivered. Very satisfied with their professionalism and genuine kindness towards my almost 90 year young grandmother. Thanks guys.

The day of my appointment, the tech said they were going to arrive at 2 PM. They did not arrive till 3:30 PM. After all that, they did not fix the problem. I will never use this company again.

They charged me $125 to fix a lift recliner that they did not fix. It's impossible to reach anyone…read morein this company and they don't stand behind their work. Now I have to find a different company to help and this company stole money from me. I will NEVER use them again nor do I recommend them. This company's communication came out to repair a lift recliner chair. The technician, a very nice man, reported that the problem was a wire under the chair. He claimed to have repaired the wire and fixed the chair. I paid him $125. The next morning, when the chair was used again, it once again failed to decline after lifting. I called the company back and reported the chair was not fixed. They got back to me two days later. Then they requested more pictures of the chair in order to schedule a technician to return. I sent them immediately via email. I also told them via email, voicemail & text that it was the Control Box under the chair and to have the technician bring a control box on his vehicle. The company never acknowledged this information. And the technician did NOT have a control box with him when he showed up a week later. Once there, he reported it was indeed the control box and he now had to order the part which could take up to two weeks to receive and 2-4 weeks to come back and install it. AND he wanted to charge me an additional $185 for the part. Their rate for a diagnostic is supposed to be $50. I paid $125 already. And 2-4 weeks? This chair is my mom's only chair and it still doesn't work. Wtf did I pay for? So...instead of fixing the chair, I decided not to. Why sink over $300 into an old chair when a new chair is less than $500? That makes no sense. This company's customer service is non-existent. They don't answer their phone and everything is robotic about the experience. While the technician was nice enough, he did not do the job correctly and preferred to argue when I called him out on it. I maintain that I will not use them again.

When I got home and saw the work I was not happy. I called and texted the owner and sent pictures of the sloppy work. Did not hear back that day or the following day either after calling and texting AGAIN. Finally emailed him that evening after 24 hours of no response. He reaches out and asked I send photos (which I already sent the day of the repairs). He called me the next morning, but maybe that's because I threatened to report this horrible job to the BBB. He didn't even apologize or elect to discuss the repairs or my concerns just scheduled a time to fix the poor job. To my surprise he sends the SAME handyman to come back out. Same handyman came back out and was defensive about his poor work and overall this made it a very uncomfortable situation. He fixed his sloppy work which was better. Sure. Was it amazing, not really but way better than his first job. Did the owner ever follow up after that? Nope! Does it seem like he cares, not at all. Honestly a good business owner would address the concerns in a timely manner and maybe even come out himself to fix the sloppy job but I guess he's too busy turning and burning jobs. Overall, If you want quality service and RESPONSIVENESS I would not recommend this company.

Over the years, I've had other handymen pass on the project. I had a handyman who was able to fill the rotted areas with wood filler, sand it, and restain it. I've even had a gate company tell me that they could not save the gate; it would need to be completely replaced. Bill was able to cut out the rotted pieces of wood, replace them, and restain the whole gate (he also repainted the decorative hardware on the door as well). Moreover, he discussed the project with a buddy of his and they determined that the gate was sitting over a muddy part of landscaping which is probably what facilitated the deterioration of the wood. We found some leftover pavers in our storage shed and Bill extended the pavers so the gate would sit over pavers instead of mud. Before he embarked on the wood gate repair, Bill also installed a valance/shade over a window. He made the necessary calculations to ensure that the valance/shade would be centered on the wall and window. He also made sure that the valence was leveled. Bill is honest, meticulous and detail-oriented. If you want someone to treat your project and your home, like it's his own, I would give Bill a call.

I found Peter online when I was searching for a reliable company to repair a desk. Our home was burglarized and the perp used a crowbar to open the drawers, not only ripping the drawer faces completely off, but also damaging the top edge of the desk. Peter came to the rescue, promptly, with empathy for our situation, and at a very reasonable fee. The drawers were properly fixed & the edge trim was refinished to perfection. We then asked him to refinished the arms of our 4 rattan chairs. He and his crew did a terrific job. Not only is he talented and loves what he does, he is a super nice guy. Moved here from Ohio & one our Ethan Allen couch was damaged. Using Ethan Allen our repair would have cost $300 in labor & another aprox $150 in materials. Went on Yelp & found this 5 star firm. Sonny the owner does all the work himself & he did a marvelous repair on our couch for $150. Very personable guy who is a super craftsman. Seeing what he could do we then had him recover the seat cushions with new fabric on 6 dining room. Again Super job at a Super price. Will certainly use Sonny again. read more

Sonny came to the rescue when my daughter's brand new dresser was damaged in a move. Sonny came to the storage unit to try and fix it on site but when he realized it would not turn out as well as he wanted - he loaded it into his van and took it with him. The headboard's material was peeling and there were tears in the bench. I delivered both to the company's shop in Santa Ana. Both pieces were reupholstered as I waited. They have a variety of materials. I used an industrial vinyl for the headboard and leather (they had a scrap piece which fit perfectly!) for the bench. Each choice and reason for using one material vs another type was thoroughly explained so I felt comfortable with my choice. I also saw and understood why the original material on the headboard peeled, thus guiding my choice to the industrial vinyl (which is beautiful). I had the bench reupholstered a few years back. Upon removal of the original materials, it was found that two different colors of vinyl were used. There were also two different pieces of foam which were not glued properly and caused a dip to be created over time in the middle of the bench. Craftsmanship and materials were important for me on this project because I plan on keeping these pieces. I'm very happy with my experience, the value and price paid.

Heartily recommend them for any type of upholstery job- home, office or Auto. (You should see the Cadillac with cowhide seats in white and brown and a leather trunk!) They even dealt with a change in the material on the conference chairs with a smile. My fault not theirs. I would go back to them 8 days a week.
