Here are the projects that we have used him for: 1. Installation of a Gladiator Garage storage shelf space - he placed it perfectly in the area that we wanted. It was well secured and has provided an extra storage space in our small garage. He checked in with us each step of the installation to make sure that we were satisfied with all aspects of the job. 2. Leak repair with mold remediation, insulation and drywall/baseboard repair in our dining room - he located the leak, cleaned out the area between the studs (including sealing an opening to the outside wall, which we didn't know about), treated for some mold that was present and then reinstalled the insulation, finished the drywall and painted the area. This included removing the baseboards and reinstalling/matching them, re-applied the orange peel texture and then painting to a perfect finish. You would never have known there was a leak there. He even replaced the outdoor spigot that was on the other side of the leaking pipe! 3. Roof truss repair in the garage - Jaime noticed when he was installing the garage storage shelf that the joints of a few of the roof trusses had separated when he was surveying the beams in the attic space. He showed us the issue and we asked him if that was something he could repair as well...he said absolutely. After getting the truss connector parts, he went up....pulled the joints together and repaired them....this is one of those hidden issues that can be catastrophic if left unresolved. Jaime will always be our "go to" repair professional. He has broad knowledge of residential buildings and is professional, pleasant and reasonable.....He is a 5-star resource. He discussed the scope of what I wanted, and we made an appointment (within a week!) to meet so he could look at it in person. Again, when he came out, I got a really solid sense that this man knew what he was doing. He didn't radiate charm or try to impress me, and that impressed me. I asked why I should have the old tile replaced, rather than sealing the cracks with, say, caulk, and he explained the downside to that (cheap) solution. He explained in detail the steps that his workers would take to remove the old tile and then install new waterproof barrier and the new tile. He gave me options--did I want a niche? What kind of grout did I want to use? Did I want to replace the shower? And he talked about price. Then he went back to his office and sent me a statement of work for approval. Then he sent me a quote, with a reminder of the unknowns involved that could change the costs. He scheduled the job about two weeks out, and recommended The Tile Shop for tile. They were very helpful (see my review of The Tile Shop). His workers were very professional, and they even taped plastic over the open walls when they finished removing the tile, so we could use the tub over the weekend. The installation went well, especially as we had to wait a day for the plumber to install the new shower. By the end of the next week it was complete and the grout was curing. I am so happy with Durrant Services, I am having them do other repairs on my roof and siding as well.

I had to repaint fully two rooms to cover the mess. i also had to redo the baseboards since they gaps between them and the floor ware too big and the caulking job was terrible. finally, there were language barriers which didn't make the communication easy. overall for the price I paid 3 stars is a gift!

I called them, expecting them to say "We can send someone out early next week." But to my surprise, they simply asked me to text a photo of the damage so they could give me an estimate. After that, they told me they'd have someone come over the next morning to fix it. They were 100% true to their word, and managed to repair the hole and paint it in only two hours. I can't recommend them enough. I hope I don't have anymore drywall problems, but if I do, I'm calling RG Paint & Drywall first.
