We chose him because of how clearly he talked the details, from paint chemistry for a salt air climate to the right way to replace those old cedar shingles. He also had a new kitchen window created from scratch to match the ones in the rest of the old house. Over the 3 - 4 week project, Omar and his crew invariably left the place immaculate, no clutter, no mess. The answer to nearly ever request was "Yes, we can do that." While they are not cheap, the tab for all of the extras we asked for was fair. And we have no doubt that the work will hold up very well. Jimmy came out twice to give us an estimate and was very honest about the situation -- he ultimately declined the job because the previous contractor had installed the drywall incorrectly and the work was in poor condition. Even after that, Jimmy generously took the time to advise us on how the original contractor could fix the issues and suggested a plan to correct it more efficiently.
