Now that that is out of the way, I'm definitely a fan of this place. They have an okay selection of booze, and their prices are pretty good. They also seem to have random sales where you can find a good deal, I got a liter of Kahlua not too long ago for only $13. Also every time i've been there, they've had 3 for $10 deals on some of the wines, which is hard to pass up. Be sure to check their website as well if you want to find some coupons.

I like Grey Goose on ice with a twist so I never pay attention to the silly commercials. I stop in because I need a sweet Vermouth, I'd also like to buy a bottle of this trendy Vodka. The store is empty and the gentleman behind the counter points me to the sweet Vermouth and then the Vodka choices. I grab a Pinnacle Whipped Vodka and ask him what the heck do you do with this stuff?? I see he has a Mac so he looks online, I see some mixed recipes on the screen. He then prints out the list??? What a nice surprise!…read more I shopped at Pindar yesterday (it's time for Winter White!) and I was looking for a bottle of Prosecco. No, we don't carry any Long Island Prosecco but the liquor store does. Wait, what? Where?? Yes, right by Tiger Lily. Huh??? Sure enough, I walk in with my dog and there is a new, pretty nice looking liquor store in the village of Port Jefferson. I asked about Processo that's not too dry. The helpful counterperson starts explaining to me the different Processo brands for sale. I grab a nice bottle and the see some tasting bottles on the coutner??? Yes, this is a Rum made in Long Island, Sag Harbor Rum. Outstanding! I also notice on the wall, smaller liquor bottles. If there is one thing I love is small bottles. Why? A good example would be St Germain. You can't keep it on the shelf for a long time. And I don't drink a lot of it, I like to mix it every once in a while. Hence, the need for a smaller size bottle. After my purchase, I asked if they carried a brand of wine called 90 Plus Cellars . He told me "no I never heard of it". I then explained to him what the brand was all about and in a most disinterested fashion he said "if enough people BOTHER me about it, I'll look into it". I asked if he was the owner and he told me that "the owner NEVER comes to the store." NOTE TO OWNER: This male clerk you had on duty, Sunday October 6, 2019 at 3:30 pm clearly needs to be retrained. I personally will not shop in your store again as there are way too many other local choices. I had to run into a store a few doors down immediately after my purchase to pick up something. I was telling the manager about the terrible service I received at the liquor store just moments earlier. He laughed in agreement and he told me his brother had a very similar experience.
