Too bad I can only give 5 stars and not more. I had my roof done in November, 2019, one week before Thanksgiving. We received quotes from 3 contractors and More Core construction was the lowest. The day Josef the owner stopped by to give us the estimate he noticed the boots around the based of the 2 roof vents were worn and cracked. Joe replaced the boots free of charge even before we gave him the business. This professionalism and care carried forward to the 2+ days of roof replacement. Joe's team worked methodically and safely, and gave us every indication that it was going to be a smooth job. Joe supervised and even installed the ventilation fan. After removing 2 layers and replacing the shingles, the team did a fantastic job cleaning up. There was not one piece of nail, shingle, or debris around the house. The work was phenomenal! It was one of our best experiences in working with any contractor. I could go on and on but will post some pictures to share my joy. read more

Great roofing company. They get the job done quickly and provide high quality workmanship. They even came out to fix a leak 2 weeks after roof was installed that turned out not to be roof related at all. Diagnosed a leak in the window frame and put sealed it with some silicone caulking. In a perfect world we would judge vendors by doing a job and having it be perfect forever. The next best thing is when a problem, or a potential problem, arises is how is it handled. This review is the latter situation. More Core did my roof, and some other items. These were done last year. Darren led the team and it was completed. There were some problems, minor things but they were handled immediately and without complaint from them. Fast forward to Sunday, March 6, 2016. I look out a window and notice the part of the roof that overhangs my front door doesn't look right. I take pictures and email them Sunday afternoon. About 7:45 that same Sunday night Darren calls me and tells me he will come out this week. This week turned out to be the next day, Monday March 7. He took a look and got right to work. No trying to get out of it, no excuses he got right to work. I couldn't get a good look last night, but this morning it looks perfect. Now some people may say, "Well that is what they were supposed to do". Let me tell you, in my 57 years this very rarely happened. Add to this that this job was done and paid for months ago. What could I have done? Write letters, emails, call the BBB? Yes I could have and I have in the past when much larger companies failed to live up to their products and warranty. I did nothing like that. It was an email, a call back, and done. I am an accountant and not particularly handy especially doing major home repairs, so I am always wary of contractors. We have all heard of the stories. But More Core responded to me quickly and professionally. I fully recommend them for not only the work but for how the deal with people and problems. Very unprofessional behavior. We signed a contract with this company to install our roof- they deposited our check and the day before work was supposed to start they backed out. We had already told other bidders no and this put us in an awful position. Now our roof is getting ruined while we find another company. I would NEVER recommend this company. read more

After searching on line for a quality roofing company, I selected More Core. The did everything exactly as they said they would. The roof looks great. But even better, a few months later, I noticed a corner where a shingle was pushed up a little by the gutter helmet under it. I called More Core's customer service and told them. A repairman was at my house in less than 2 hours and made the adjustment, at no charge, of course. I doubt that such quick service could always happen, but they stood behind their work without question. What more could I ask. read more

we called More Core to check out a leak in our roof and Joe came that day and made some repairs. he said to call back if happened again. it did, we called and he performed even more repairs. both times he came out were at no charge. unfotunately the roof was too far gone and we called Joe to give us an estimate on replacing the roof. he came out within a day or two and provided a quote. he is professional and honest. he explained everything in detail and provided options. since we were redoing our bathroom we decided to replace the top section that needed immediate attention. we expressed urgent need to get it done, he advised they were booked solid for 2-3 weeks but he'd give us a call. i think we received a call a week later with an update and within 2 weeks he was able to fit us in. the workers arrived at 7am and worked straight to 1pm. very happy with the services. would not hesitate calling Joe. the final roof repair was done March '18. read more
