The Saint Restaurant & Bar is located within the St. Francisville Inn…read more My Wife and I eat here at least once or twice a year, which began in 2024. It is easily in our top 5 favorite restaurants. It would also be within the top 3 or 5 best restaurants we've eaten at. I think it has gotten better since we started visiting, which is saying a lot. The restaurant is now getting recognized by Michelin and was recently added to their Michelin Guide. I will have to see if I can locate additional photos I have taken over the years. We have been at this point, June 2026, about five times. Every time we go the food and service is 10/10. We always start with the Baguette, Bisque and Sensation Salad. If I had to choose one dish to order it would be the Bisque. I could make a meal out of it with the Baguette. It is one of the 10 best bites of food I have ever had. It's the best thing on the menu in my opinion and luckily it's a main stay. As far main dishes go we have had varieties of their steak, pane'd veal, pork chop, pasta and fish. All were amazing. When it comes to desserts we typically get the flourless Chocolate Torte (when available) and the cheesecake.

It's been so long since those three elements simultaneously meshed that I 'd almost lost all hope I'd ever find that again in a dining experience. Mrs. Shirley greets you like an old friend. The lunch menu is elevated yet not over the top. The hot honey chicken sandwich I had , topped with two bacon strips and homemade pimento cheese, was the best chicken sandwich I've ever eaten. It came with a small side of crispy fries for $18. And my wife ordered a steak wedge salad that was unbelievable delicious. The cocktails are extremely pricey at $18. But if you want a memorable lunch experience, this is the place. It's now our once a month lunch rotation.

We stayed here for a girls weekend. The room was gorgeously decorated! There is a Keurig coffee…read morestation when you walk in, a seating area, two queen beds, and a spacious bathroom. Check in is at the St Francisville Inn across the street, where they welcome you with a glass of champagne (perfect after a long drive). Breakfast is also served at the St Francisville Inn, and guests of the Hotel Toussaint also have access to the pool there. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! There are lots of great restaurants and shops in walking distance from the hotel, as well as lots of parking on the road directly in front of the hotel. If you prefer not to walk everywhere, there's a trolley that you can ride between the various shops and restaurants in the area. This is a great place to stay on a trip to St Francisville!

This hotel is beautiful, but what no one tells you is that it is literally in a shell parking lot…read moreof a pizza shop. There is absolutely no way of unloading your luggage and getting to your room at all unless you tear up your luggage across the shells. An elderly person or a person with any sort of physical issue will really struggle and I am trying to figure out how it is even ADA compliant. The inn across the street is gracious enough to provide the basic ammenities since this property doesn't, but I believe it is owned by the home interior shop next door. There is no ice, no water, no one even around to help you. Just stay at the actual St. Francisville Inn and skip this bc it was more like a shameless retail plug while you are literally in a pizza shop parking lot behind a concrete wall. I called about my stay and emailed and no one even bothered to call me back. The rooms are beautiful, but you are in a very busy retail space on display for everyone to see. All the exterior chairs and pottery have price tags on them and belong to the retail store- not the hotel. You will also have zero ability to roll your luggage into the room.

I am absolutely disappointed. 150$ a night for pubic hair in the bed. Bugs! Dirty tub. The place outside is worse. Garbage everywhere! Chairs in the lake. I feel like they owe me 4 new tires as well. Pot holes are part of the charm. I just can't begin to tell anyone never stay here. I had to go to the local dollar General ( also nasty) for cleaning supplies and sheets. Lesson learned. I will look at reviews first.

(Now called Hotel St. Francis)…read more We stayed here as part of a wedding (I'm not sure why the bride & groom recommended it) and it was a huge mistake. Friendliness of staff: I had two interactions with the staff to make the reservation and both weren't good. They were very rude and disorganized and it was hard for me to get a confirmation. On arrival, it took 20 minutes to check-in and they couldn't find my reservation. Luckily I had the confirmation slip. Then they tried to overcharge me by $20, but I had the confirmation that showed a lower rate. Then, they still billed me for 2 nights when we only stayed one. I'm still trying to get that fixed. Rooms: The rooms were completely awful. They smelled like smoke, the beds were horrible, the shower ceiling was caving-in, the shower head was horrible. Cleanliness: Also incredibly awful. We took one look at our room and immediately started calling around for other hotel openings, but there weren't any. The toilet seat had some sort of paper towel stuck to it still (I'm really hoping that's remnants of it being cleaned), the soap package was already open and on the sink, and we only had one towel (the housekeeping lady, the only nice person we interacted with, did bring us more). Food: We took one look at breakfast and headed for Birdman cafe.
