I ordered their cafe mocha latte (confirmed it came with the latte art - that was important!), and their shredded chicken naan panini. Food and coffee were ready in 5 minutes and I was OBSESSED with the latte art that the barista surprised me with. It took me a lot of mental strength to actually ruin the art and drink the coffee. But the coffee was so delicious that it actually made up for it! It was a rich taste of coffee and dark chocolate and tasted divine! Oh and the panini? Delicious! Perfect balance of chicken, greens, tomato and a flavourful sauce packed with yumminess. I am going to be back for more!

The true highlight, though, was the pain au chocolat loaded with premium chocolate that melts in your mouth. Arash, the owner, is incredibly warm and welcoming. He makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. I'm definitely going back soon, and I highly recommend giving this place a try if you have not already.

Apparently this location is a laptop free zone, offering an incredibly welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle of financial district. Today I ordered a cortado. Before you even drink it, the fragrant coffee smell hits you. A bit sweet and almost fruity. When drinking it, the flavours amplify and provide an overall sense of calm, a breath of fresh air. It doesn't just feel like a regular old coffee but that you can take your time with it, like having a conversation with an old friend, it is meant to be savoured. The schnitzel was incredibly well seasoned and just the right amount of crispy. The portion was also quite massive. I didn't really enjoy the bread, particularly with the sesame seeds (it was a lot!) and the pickles felt unnecessary as well. My truffle fries were amazing. I had a few of my friend's sweet potato fries and they were also quite good. They have a really extensive menu, so I actually would want to come back again just to try other things. I didn't get to try the drink menu but I'd also want to try some as well, particularly the smoothies and the lattes. Overall, I'd recommend this brunch place! Make sure you do a reservation if you can if you're coming during peak hours.

I had that dish at another location the first time I tried cafe Landwer and it was to die for. I wanted to try a dinner menu item and got the chicken parmigiana with pasta instead. It was okay but definitely did not compete with the shakshuka I ate previously. Other meals included schnitzel and various pastas. All good but again nothing to write home about. I did however have a bit of my friend's roasted potatoes and it was delicious. Will be back for shakshuka!

When I opened the sandwich, I could barely make out any cheese inside. I found the bread to be too thick for the amount of cheese and it was quite dry as a result. I also felt the type of bread was a bit too overpowering for a grilled cheese, but this is just my personal preference and I'm sure many others would disagree. It was ok, but I prefer a place that allows you to build your own sandwich. This place is better suited to people who want something quick and are not overly picky about what's in their sandwich.

There is a 2 hour seating limit and they have free wifi with paying customers. Got an iced tea and it was refreshing and the perfect pick me up after lunch. Parking is a little tricky since it's street parking right outside of the cafe, which is green P and has to be paid for. Overall, it was a cute environment and had a great selection of drinks and sweets to choose from. Check them out if you're in the area.

Expectation wise? Don't expect Michelin star chefs or fancy interiors. It's a very humble setup in a non-traditional office building with staff who go the extra mile to assist customers. My pasta was made on the spot by the same person who took my order and made my espresso. He was a very honest, hard worker who served customers while making the food and drinks from scratch. I watched him meticulously cleaning all the cooking equipment, espresso machine, countertops, surfaces, and cleaning the floors after serving his customers. I was very impressed by his work ethic and dedication. I tried the penne pasta with mushroom and sausage topped with Alfredo sauce. It came with garlic bread and salad. Their number one ordered meal. So good! The penne pasta with rossa sauce (rose sauce) came with chicken and mushrooms. I prefer the Alfredo sauce as it was rich creamy and delicious. However what made my experience a good one was the hospitality and attentiveness of the staff. In today's fast food world, good service warrants a higher star rating!

We literally had to ask for a menu, ask for parmesan, ask for the desert menu, ask for the bill; each time waiting to catch his eye before we could ask. Staffing, unfortunately, is a problem.
