I am submitting this complaint regarding the handling of my personal injury case by Morgan &…read moreMorgan. My primary concerns are the lack of communication, failure to provide timely updates, apparent lack of review of my medical records, and the ongoing delay in distributing my settlement funds. After Morgan & Morgan accepted my case, I consistently found myself having to initiate contact in order to obtain updates or move the case forward. Throughout the representation, phone calls, voicemails, and emails frequently went unanswered, often requiring multiple follow-up attempts before receiving any response. After I completed medical treatment, communication became even more limited. At one point, I was informed by my attorney that I was not injured. This statement was surprising given the medical treatment I had undergone and the ongoing pain I continued to experience. The statement led me to question whether my medical records and treatment history had been thoroughly reviewed before that conclusion was reached. When I challenged that assessment and explained that I remained in pain, I was told the matter would be reviewed and that I would receive a return call within a few hours. That call did not occur, and I did not receive meaningful follow-up until several days later despite repeated attempts to contact the firm. The lack of responsiveness became so concerning that I ultimately sent a written request asking Morgan & Morgan to cease representing me. Only after that request did communication resume. I was later asked to sign a demand package and was informed that the insurance company generally had 30 days to respond. When that period expired, I received no proactive update from the firm regarding the status of my claim. Once again, I was required to make multiple calls and send multiple emails before receiving any information. I was eventually informed that my claim had been denied due to an alleged administrative mix-up. Following additional requests for action, I was informed that a lawsuit would be filed. However, shortly thereafter, I was advised that the matter had settled. Despite the settlement being reached, communication again became inconsistent and difficult. More than three weeks after settlement, I was informed that the firm was still waiting for an itemized bill from my medical provider. Concerned about the delay, I personally contacted the clinic and obtained the requested documentation within 48 hours. I then provided the documentation directly to Morgan & Morgan. Despite receiving the requested documents, I was unable to obtain a clear timeline regarding the release of my settlement funds. When I asked when I could expect payment, I was informed that no estimated disbursement date could be provided. At this point, the insurance company has settled the claim, attorney fees have been addressed, and medical providers have received payment. However, I, the injured client, have still not received my portion of the settlement proceeds. The pattern throughout this representation has been a lack of communication, delayed responses, failure to provide status updates, and the burden being placed on me to repeatedly follow up in order to obtain information about my own case. As a client, I expected timely communication, reasonable diligence, and transparency regarding the handling of my claim. I respectfully request a review of the firm's handling of this matter, including: 1. The failure to maintain regular communication and provide timely responses to client inquiries. 2. The apparent failure to adequately review and assess my medical records before conclusions were communicated regarding my injuries. 3. The repeated delays that required me to personally obtain documents necessary to move the case forward. 4. The lack of transparency regarding settlement processing and disbursement timelines. 5. The continued delay in releasing my settlement funds despite settlement having been finalized. I am requesting immediate clarification regarding the status of my settlement proceeds and prompt disbursement of any funds owed to me. As a client who entrusted Morgan & Morgan to represent my interests, I believe I was entitled to a higher level of communication, diligence, and professionalism than I received throughout this process.

Morgan & Morgan worst law firm I have ever seen. My wife retained Morgan & Morgan about her workman comp and wrongful termination from the school system. She asked are you sure you can help before I waste my time or yours. O yes we will go after the school system for wrongful termination and workman comp, so she went with them . after telling her they would go after workman cop first then the school board. they went after workman comp and the told her that was all they could do. she was assigned KIRK PERRO to handle her case. He has thrown her under the bus and let it roll over her again. He was so buddy buddy with workman comp you could hear him laughing and joking with them in the next room. He was worthless, my wife was called names, things were brought up that had nothing to do with her case and he said or did nothing. Even told her not to say a word or make any jesters. She was sold out. she basically got nothing for the hell she was put through by workman comp.and as far as the office help, what a joke she was to call BOBBY PAYNE That was a joke, she was always out it would take her three weeks or longer to call you back. if she called back at all. if Morgan & Morgan cared and was for the people their help would not treat people like nothing. So if you want to be thrown under the bus and have it back over you then hire Morgan & Morgan. if not you better be smart and hire someone else. Now that my husband has had his say.. I will say that I never understood what my dead daughter had to do with any workers comp case. Why my ex husband's had to be brought up. Why my attorney sat by while the opposing attorney said that my entire problem came down to the fact that I am bow legged. I AM NOT NOW, NOR HAVE I EVER BEEN BOW LEGGED.... I went to MY doctor and asked about my legs being bowed and he responded that they are not. At almost 60 years old, you would think I would have known by now. But my attorney sat by and said nothing. I felt like he was allowing me to be hung by an attorney that he was friends with or at best buddies. But I had no defense from him in this situation. NONE.... Bobby Payne was always sweet to me, although my husband feels differently, he has a right to his opinion.. When I asked why couldn't speak to Mr. Morgan I was told they do not accept calls like this because I have already been assigned an attorney. A man from my church had talked to them and decided to go with a small firm in Ocala and he had very similar injuries as mine. His attorney fought for him and he ended up with a large sum of money. His attorney made sure he was taken care of. Not mine... He said that this was the best I could do.. Bull Crap... I used them 16 years ago, but will not be making that mistake again. I have advised others that I knew at the time looking for an attorney not to use them and I will continue to do so. They will be getting the 5000. for fee's and I'm sure that will make no difference to them one way or the other. But for me, that money would make a big difference, seeing I didn't get enough to take care of the surgeries I will need. The best I can say is find an attorney that is not so large that they really don't care about you. This is a huge mistake on my part. I thought by the commercials that they would really take care of me. SMH........ read more

Morgan & Morgan, a renowned law firm promising justice and advocacy, fell short of its commitments in a distressing case involving an infant injury. The firm's failure to adequately represent my daughter, coupled with significant delays and negligence, highlights serious shortcomings in their professional conduct. The case began in September of 2021 when I reached out to Morgan & Morgan seeking legal assistance for my infant daughter, who sustained injuries from a fall onto a metal lift station cover resulting in burns on her hands and legs. Despite initial acceptance of the case, the firm demonstrated a profound lack of diligence and urgency in handling the matter. Astonishingly, it wasn't until March of 2024, two and a half years later, that any significant progress or communication occurred. This egregious delay is unacceptable, especially considering the severity of the injuries and the impact on the well-being of my daughter and other children in the neighborhood with unimpeded access to the lift station where she sustained her injuries. One of the most egregious aspects of Morgan & Morgan's mishandling of the case is their repeated failure to review my daughter's medical records. Despite receiving these crucial documents from our pediatrician on four separate occasions, the firm neglected to undertake the necessary review. This negligence not only demonstrates a lack of attention to detail but also raises questions about the firm's commitment to thorough and diligent representation. Furthermore, the irony is not lost in the fact that John Morgan, the founder of Morgan & Morgan, was motivated to establish his own law firm due to his brother's negative experience with legal representation. It is perplexing that a firm with such a purported dedication to righting legal wrongs could falter so significantly in a case where justice and accountability were paramount. The ultimate blow came in May of 2024 when I received a letter from Morgan & Morgan, informing me that they were declining to represent my daughter. This decision, made nearly three years after initially accepting the case, is not only profoundly disappointing but also indicative of a systemic failure within the firm. This experience has been marked by frustration, disappointment, and a profound sense of wasted time. The lack of closure and the failure to secure the legal representation promised by Morgan & Morgan has only compounded the emotional toll of the situation. Morgan & Morgan's handling of my daughter's injury case reflects a significant departure from the standards of professionalism and competence expected of a reputable law firm. Their failure to provide timely, thorough, and effective representation has not only harmed the interests of my daughter, their former client, but has also undermined the trust and credibility of the legal profession as a whole. Called Morgan and Morgan after a serious car accident that I wasn't at fault for the other driver was ticketed, I had to go to hospital by ambulance and I called because I knew I would need professional help. Now I had personal medical insurance but instead of being told/ or allowed to go to my doctors (whom I ended up having to go to anyway because their doctors didn't help!) I had to go to theirs which ate up any possible monies I may have recovered for my injuries!!! And after making remarks of my dissatisfaction with their lack of communication , and the fact they used up all my recovery money going to their doctors!! I was charged double what my Drs. would charged and now I am 10's of thousands of dollars in debt that I wouldn't be in if MY insurance would have been used properly!! Now why if they are their FOR THE PEOPLE did they leave me in such a horrible position!! I am still in pain almost a year later!! I still owe the hospital, ambulance, THEIR DOCTORS!!! and my doctors for their services!! WHAT???? I can't work and I can barely move , I have lost the ability to enjoy life as I did before! I get so upset when I see Morgan@Morgan commercials because I believe they are just out for the ALMIGHTY DOLLAR!! So I say to you READER!! Forewarned is forearmed!! Find an attorney who you can actually speak face to face with and after this experience I would say go to a small firm were it is more likely that their primary concern is to win for YOU! Because if they win for YOU it's a win for them! Morgan @ Morgan is past truly caring FOR THE PEOPLE!! It's incredible how many bad reviews have this crooks (I'm ONLY referring to the Owners, Morgan & Morgan family) after taking a look at their yelp site. I happened to be one of the many, that have been dare enough to call their number and being interviewed by a "trained customer service". I had a case of dental malpractice (which they advertised on their website, as well as all possible legal case just to hook you up and make you call them) and when I called the Firm and explained my situation, the person on the other end told me they might help me with this type of case, then she proceeded to ask me for my personal information such as name, address, dental clinic subject to malpractice, doctor, etc..Then to my surprise, she asked my to wait on the line, so she can discusses the case with a case manager..... and after 10 seconds, she told me they could not be able to help me and offered me a number from the Bar Association to call them and get help from them????? What a crook people!!. I asked why after more than 10 minutes on the phone trying to explain my situation and giving them my personal information she only took 10 seconds! to "discuss" my case with a case manager. We all know that's B...S.. when I called in the first 10 seconds they knew they would not take the case because they simple don't take cases that do not represent $$$$$$$$$ and obviously my posible case did not bring the millions they need to survive. I'm afraid these people besides the service they render (to some millionaires, athletes, celebrities, etc..from their inner circle), they share your personal information, maybe for profit or favor, only they know! AGAIN.. I'm only mentioning Morgan & Morgan family, not the dozens of people like us working there to make ends meet. Abigail Luna who was assigned to my case as my case manager, took such great care of me and assessed all of my needs even through the lockdown! Some people are not going to have a case and they don't like that so they leave a bad review there are others who have strong cases ,they are compensated and more than happy to leave a good review and that's cool. I was in a slip and fall accident on 5/29/24 approx. 8:50 am riding my little 49cc scooter. As I approached the kernan square parking lot eastbound on Beach Blvd traveling at about 25 mph in the right turning lane heading toward the second entrance . As I approached i notice a lot of debris on the turning lane as I am applying my breaks and turning into the parking lot my front tore slips on the debris the scooter topples over and I broke my right leg . Had it not been for the debris left on the entrance way I would have made it to work safely that morning and on post for my shift. Instead 911 rescue was call and I got the most painful ride ever to the hospital road rash exhaust burns , brused ribs and a broken leg . So far the hired an investigation firm who I've consulted with and. Shared photos of the crime scene. I wish they would have sent someone to help me file an unemployment or workman comp. Claim because I'm so whacked out on these pain pills I ain't good for much but really it isn't their job to help me with that. The government has people they pay to help us with that. I'm from Ireland and was involved in a RTA Which wasn't my fault here during vacation .N endless to say I was daunted by the prospect of dealing with insurance and hospitals and law enforcement so I chose Morgan and Morgan only because I saw their advertisement. So glad I did. From the initial call I felt at ease with them and they put my mind at rest ,explaining the process of what happens to allocating an investigator to come to our hotel for statements ,photos etc..we were assigned a lead attorney ,Celeste Lugo who coordinated everything with us whilst we were in Florida and made sure we had confidence to leave knowing that our case would be given as much attention as if we were resident . My son was hit by a speeding car. They sent a employee to the hospital who swore up and down they would be by my son's side for EVERYTHING! What a bunch of crap. They won't come to court with us for a hearing against the driver. I've had to go and track down names and addresses for the lawyer and I had to go to the police department and throw a fit for the lawyer to get a copy of the report which still doesn't have the info they need. Now I'm hearing everything their office can't do... For the people is a joke. All they care about is that quick few bucks from insurance money that doesn't even begin to cover what we are going through or will continue to go through... Oh yeah and you only deal with a paralegal... I have yet to speak with the lawyer and it's been 4 months since I've heard the lawyers voice... Mind you we are already entitled to the insurance money so what exactly was Morgan and Morgan doing for us??? Nothing really yet other than arguing with me over email about coming into a office for a meeting to explain why now all of a sudden they can't help me... I'm looking at other law firms and suggest everyone else do the same! They are however suing Disney over a whole bunch of crap but can't take a slam dunk lawsuit such as ours.... read more

I am a college student who lives on her own, works full time and goes to school full time. Leaving work, a driver hit me and my car was a total loss. I lost my job, couldn't go to school for a while and was in complete distress. My orthopedic surgeon from a previous case recommended me to contact Morgan & Morgan to represent me in this case. At first, I was nervous because I've only had one experience with a lawyer and it did not go well. However, Morgan and Morgan proved to me that they genuinely care about their clients. I was represented by Dan Morgan and also worked with Victoria. With my previous case (2 years long), I only spoke with my lawyer probably 3/4 times the entire 2 years and I had to be the one to call because If I didn't, they would have never contacted me. However, Dan and Victoria contacted me about every two weeks with updates and I always knew what was going on with my case I spoke with them so much (via phone and face-to-face), and they always made me feel comfortable with the decisions being made. My medical bills were completely covered and I received more money than I expected. I was able to buy a new car for myself. Well...I was in a very terrible car accident..While I was in hospital a family member took it upon their selves to get an attorney...I got hit head on with the driver texting and driving Hit me head on!!!So this 1st attorney My family knew wasn't working out so he got Let Go!!!So I seen on TV and a lot more places that Morgan@Morgan was Awesome Attorney which my friend had used them before.I really felt like John Morgan's Brother like-getting the wrong Lawyer at the first.I was so mad plus hurting Drs. Physical Therapy couldn't walk both my legs were huge bandages all my body ache to the bones..And pretty much still does...But this team took me on and helped me a lot the ladies in office helped me when I needed help...It will be a year August And they have done a Amazing Job helping me all the way...I know I would get ill mad but what I was going through I was so so stressed aggravated hurt cry all the time...Paul Shomaker knows that!!!Paul Attorney John Morgan and other Attorneys have been Awesome...I just wanted someone to fight for me with what all I've been through..So If anyone needs Good Caring Attorneys that try so hard and make everything work..All You Have To Do Is Give everything to Morgan@Morgan...For The People!!! read more

I called Morgan and Morgan about an injury that happened with a E-Cig and defective batteries. Within minutes I had a callback and they were getting info. I was assigned to Attorney Harris Yegelwel and from day one he was not only kind and helpful but also was honest and knowledgeable. I felt like I was a million dollar client even though my case was only a small claim. Throughout the process, he would contact me to keep me updated on the progress and gave me realistic expectations on what to expect both from the money aspect and how these cases work. I'm a very knowledge driven person so this was helpful and satisfying. Any time I did call in, Attorney Yegewel took my call or even called me back within a few hours if he was busy. One weekend he was going away and even gave me his cell phone to call him. Today I got the call that they had met our terms and that they are settling for exactly the amount that he told me he thought he could get for me. Personal laywers sometimes get bad names because they are not always represented in the right light. I can say that I would go to Morgan and Morgan again and I hope that I would be luck enough to get Attorney Yegelwel again. I would gladly do a commercial for them if they wished. read more

James Dye who is an attorney for Morgan & Morgan was council on my mother's case. My mother was denied a homeowners insurance claim in Central Florida. He sent out experts and made a visit to her site personally to see for himself the claim results. The insurance carrier never even bothered to come to her home but just flat out denied her claim. I contacted Morgan & Morgan and we never met James but we were so happy that he was issued our case. The bottom line is, James really went to bat for mom and she was awarded a settlement that was very helpful for her to correct and remodel her place caused from an explosion of sewer waste water blasting out of all her plumbing fixtures. Basically human waste sprayed everywhere. We were told that it was a Hazmat level 4. It is sad when insurance companies prey on the elderly like just flat out denying a claim like this. It was caused by a negligent sewer rodding company jetting out a main line and four other homes had the same results except their homeowners insurance paid with no questions asked. In May of 2021 I had suffered a right frontal lobe hemorrhagic brain bleed, then that following October i have to undergo Chiari Malformation Decompression Surgery. I was unable to drive or work. All of my doctors told me I should go for my disability, I did and was denied 3 times and then they said I needed a lawyer if I wanted to pursue a hearing. I have never in my life ever had to speak to a lawyer for anything much less find one to represent me. Well, after worrying about what to do I seen a commercial on tv for Morgan and Morgan and I thought I will give them a chance and i am so glad I did. Mr. Glover and Mr. Sean Nesbit his secretary went above and beyond for me. They checked on me often before the hearing and just wanted to make sure I was doing okay with everything going on. when I say that these 2 men went above and beyond is an understatement, after 3 very long years they were successful in helping me! I had a motor vehicle accident. I specifically sought out David Noble of Morgan & Morgan in the Lexington, KY area. I had previously retained other counsel and that firm just did not meet up to the high standards that are necessary to litigate. Sure they were nice but that does not cut it when it comes to negotiating. Upon contacting Dave, I let him know the issues with the firm that I wanted to fire and also let him know specifics of my case. He accepted my matter and when I tell you Dave hit the ground running, I'm not kidding. He exudes confidence, speaks up for his clients, and moves the case along instead of sitting on it. I called them on three cases they didn't want to be bothered with any of them. The same case that they refused I hired another attorney and I won. I recently called them on a malpractice lawsuit I guess it wasn't big enough for their pockets they refused it again it's so right when people say all they want is Big Money. They should change their logo for the people it should say for Morgan & Morgan they'll do anything to fill up their pockets but really help people unless it's in their best interest. Now they have the grandchildren on the commercial anything to grab people's attention. I wish they would just practice what they preach and be for the people. I will call them again for anything. When I called them today it was for medical malpractice suit that made me deadly ill I guess that wasn't money enough. Then they give you this one well I'm sure they are attorneys out there that will take the case most of the attorneys listed for accidents I wouldn't trust any of them now because you don't have an accident they don't make major money they don't want the case.. read more

I'd give ZERO stars if I could. In the last 10 years, I have called for help from Morgan & Morgan twice. The first time was when my husband was run down by a cargo van. The second time was for a discrimination case. The first time I called for because my husband being hit by a van, Morgan & Morgan didn't even bother to call me back. We went on to find another lawyer and won $700,000. I guess M&M is only out for the REALLY big bucks...and because we are apparently NOBODY'S with a crappy little problem like discrimination, they said our case didn't warrant Morgan & Morgan's help. John Morgan you're a NOBODY who is only out for the bottom line...the most money you can squeeze from an insurance company and the victim who blindly hires you. You're running a mill and you and the insurance companies are in bed together. HEY, TYLER D FROM MORGAN & MORGAN WHO IS RESPONDING TO ALL OF THE BAD REVIEWS...IS JOHN MORGAN PAYING YOU $15 AN HOUR THEY PROFESS TO PAY ALL OF THEIR EMPLOYEES TO COPY AND PASTE "HOW SORRY YOU ARE"?? My home was damaged during Hurricane Irma and the insurance company that covered my home refused to compensate me for the damages. I contacted Morgan & Morgan who agreed to take my case. Roger's expertise and experience in dealing with insurance companies that refuse to pay was invaluable. He told us up front how long the process and negotiations typically play out and what to expect for a final outcome. Roger was completely forthright and accurate on the experience my wife & I went throughout the process. The final outcome was very satisfactory to us and the former insurance company that held the policy on my home ultimately paid more out at the outcome than if they would have settled with me in the first place. Excellent!!! That was my experience with Morgan & Morgan. At 60 years old I found myself in need of legal counsel. I was at my wits end when I made the call to Morgan & Morgan. The person who answered the phone was the first person to calm my nerves. She was fantastic. The next person to get me on the right path was BuWhan. What a kind, caring soul. He was wonderful. After patiently listening to me he put together a plan. Together my attorney, Velma and her assistant June, put everything in order. June was absolutely amazing gathering everything needed to move ahead with my case. She contacted me regularly to keep me in the know. Then Ms. Velma presented and WON my case before the judge! I can hardly speak about this experience without getting a lump in my throat. I truly don't know where I would be now without the expertise they all showed.
