Purchased a new GMC Denali 3.0 Duramax. Two months and 6,000 miles later the engine is defective. No ETA on a new engine - salesman says it could be 4 months. No option but to wait or trade it in and take a personal loss in depreciation. When a new vehicle fails catastrophic it should be a full refund or vehicle exchange for like kind, not trade it in for the dealer to make more money on my loss. read more

The vehicle was superclean inside and runs smooth. I feel the price was reasonable for a vehicle of this age and condition. I have made several deals on vehicles found online from dealerships in the south (Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, & Georgia). I can honestly say this transaction was by far the smoothest of them all. Both GMC service department Shreveport and Bossier are horrible. I had a major issue with Clayton in Jan/ Feb for having my car for 3 weeks and not sending the diagnostic to my warranty company in a timely fashion, which cost me $900 out of pocket. They only reimbursed me $200 of it. He told me I didn't have a slow oil leak likes right I did but it was something else. Here I am in Shreveport GMC today finding out that I actually had an oil leak and they were going to charge me extra for the oil change after they told me it was included with the service last Friday. I have been feeling over the years that they were overcharging which I why I took my vehicle to Bossier back in January. Only for them to create a problem and not fix what I brought it in for. People please get a copy of what the problem is and services being performed prior to them starting. make sure if you have a warranty that you check it yourself, and ask more questions. When my husband went looking for trucks he found mr.dex he was great . They were able to get him in the truck he wanted . So impressed a few months later I bought a car from dex again. When signing papers with the finance department. Not just once did this get messed up but twice . Then to top that off a month later I get a call from Mr. Stafford stating I owe them $400 because of HIS mess up on the paperwork and was told " we are human we make mistakes " . It didn't stop there after going back and forth over Mr.Stanford's messed up I refused to pay for his mess-up. I was then told that they would not hand over my plates to my car Until I pay... excuse me I'm sorry but nope your messed up you fix it . You would think with buying a NEW vehicle NOT even a YEAR old yet and the hydraulic motor mounts went out. The trucks sounds like it is about to explode . Per the service management this could be 3 months before getting it fixed and no loaner truck and you can still drive it just take it easy... Really are you kidding me . Take your money else where and find a better dealership.If you want a dealership that stands behind their vehicles this is not the place . read more

Had my gmc looked at for steering problem in October was told there was nothing wrong with it a month later lost power steering and brakes

I took my car to this dealership because my dealership could not get my car in by the time I needed. This dealership diagnosed it after about an hour or more wait. I was told they could fix it and the price. After getting the estimate for work done, I told them that I could not pay that amount today and they told me that I could finance the difference and started with the work. That is not what happened and my car has been in the service department at this dealership for 2 weeks now. They are not clear on what they tell their customers and I am not sure they even checked to make sure transmission fluid was in the transmission before they told me I needed a new transmisison. I would not recommend extensive service done here unless you maybe bring a lawyer. read more

1st of all I had Mike Morgan bossier City, install a new motor for me in my Buick enclave last year they told me it was going to take a week. It took them 33 days to put this motor in my car. It would have took them longer but I called the main office and got somebody high up on top of it. Now I have a front end problem, I called over to Mike Morgan Buick bossier City 10 weeks ago and talked to my service rep Adam, he keeps on telling me that they don't have room for me over there 10 weeks later, now you can't tell me they haven't had any new customers in 10 weeks. I don't believe that one bit that's a lie so I am going to find me a new mechanic they have just lost my business. If I were you people out there I would not take my car to Mike Morgan Buick. I got here at like 7:40 because I missed my turn and traffic was like EXTRA heavy, due to everyone trying to go to work or school. Today I scheduled an appointment to have an oil change, two new tires swapped and added to the front of my truck, check on a possible recall issue with my coolant. I was late to the appointment due to a flat tire The plug that I put in for the large bolt that was in the tire didn't hold. Not a big deal, a hole that size, I expected something to maybe happen. Once I arrived, I throughly explained what was needed and my expectations because of how particular I am about my vehicles. Several hours later after dropping the truck off I was dropped off to see where the truck was on completion because it was expected to be done sooner. The truck was close to being finished so I waited. Once the service rep came around to notify me that my truck was done, I had him follow me to do a walk around to ensure that everything was done. During the walk around I noticed that my valve stem caps weren't on so I asked that we could have them put back on. The service rep did so and as I was putting the caps back on I noticed damage to my front wheels. So then I preceded back onto the service floor to get the attention of the service rep so that we could see what could be done about the situation. After grabbing his manager and reviewing the damage, the result came down to all we can do is a repair. I declined because that's not something I want to do. A repair is a repair. Which means it could come out or it will still be noticeable. I own a 2019 Denali dually. This isn't a cheap truck and I use it for my work. I got what I wanted and I keep it a certain way. So why should I have to accept damages to my vehicle when that's not how it came in. To close, the manager told me that after reviewing my file and seeing how frequently I came by, there wasn't anything more they will do for me and it's basically no big deal that we resolve this issue or care if I come back for service. My truck has only 36k miles. I've been by probably 3 times for maintenance. How often does someone have to bring in a vehicle to be treated correctly or be able to trust the professionals to handle their vehicle. As far as me and my family, we won't be returning to this service department. I'll find people with more pride in their workmanship and business. read more

First time at Morgan GMC. Primarily to get my GMC 2500 HD serviced. We walked the lot to look at new trucks and there inventory is disappointing. Service department seams friendly, facilities are a little dirty. Prices are comparable. $51 and some change, took a little more then an hour and didn't do a vehicle health report at least that I know of because service department didn't go over it with me like other GMC dealers. read more

I found a used Trailblazer for My Daughter at Morgan in Bossier City and I paid cash for it. The liftgate handle and license plate assy. came loose in the first 30 days and a trim piece flew off as well. They said, "Bring it in, We'll take care of it!" She took it in and was told that the parts would run about 500 dollars plus Labor... That's really Taking Care of it isn't it? I figure the broken body fastener that holds the liftgate assy. on probably costs $1.50 tops and the air deflector on the left side of the liftgate window can't be more than $50 bucks retail so if You want a Dealership that Stands Behind the Vehicles They Sell, after the Sale, Mike Morgan is NOT the one. read more

The buying process here was way too hard. The salesman that I had been working with was helpful, until my father came from out of town to talk to him and cosign (I'm a first time buyer.) He was resistant to any questions that my father asked him (the reason I brought him!!) Then, after my dad left, the salesman made rude comments about him to me. I think I made 6 trips to the dealership after purchase. They also called twice asking for my dad to come back so they could copy his driver's license, which they had already done, but lost the copy. When I actually went to get the vehicle, it wasn't cleaned inside or out and had 1/4 tank of gas. I also was mailed something saying my first oil change would be $19, but it was $60 -- they "didn't see" a discount in the computer when they put in my VIN and info. A few months later, we bought my husband's truck at Everett GMC in Bryant, AR. We called, told them what we needed, gave our info and made ONE trip. They were so helpful. We also got tons of merch (ice chest, hat, etc.) and his oil changes are $9.99. If you can make the trip I highly recommend Everett. I will not be buying from Morgan again. read more
