Then said they couldn't fix it because it was so many inches from the radiator, which didn't make sense at all, said I need to go to an authorized GM mechanic service. Took my truck to Monroe's garage, they said it wasn't the air compressor at all, just a sensor. Truck has been great since. Don't waste time or money on this place. They lie and don't know what the hell they're doing. The body work is even screwed up and doesn't align up. I advise everyone not to go there. They looked like a bunch of shady people too.

The last wreck I had was in 1977 on Highway 59 south of Atlanta, Texas. I had not had a wreck of…read moreany kind until last month when, for some strange reason, I thought it would be just a great idea to back my vehicle into a dumpster in a parking lot. Still not sure why it happened, but it did. (The dumpster is fine by the way...and yes, the insurance company did ask me about the dumpster). So, having no idea where to go to get my car repaired, the insurance company gave me a list of their approved repair shops. Tim's Paint and Collision was on the list with a bunch of other folks. Well, that narrowed it down. So I asked two friends of mine if they had a recommendation. Both said (separately and not knowing that I was or had asked someone else), "take it to Tim's"! With those two recommendations, I did indeed take it to Tim's and I am I very glad I did! First of all, they were glad I was there. Not many businesses act that way anymore. But they did. They seemed genuinely pleased that I had come to them and they were happy to have my business. It wasn't like they didn't have anything to do either...they were extremely busy. Tim did a careful inspection of the car, submitted the claim to my insurance company and it was approved the next day. I took the car back to Tim's and he said it would be ready in five business days. And I got it exactly when he said! And it looked brand new! I could not believe what a great job was done, how the paint matched...it is a fantastic job! And it was at exactly the amount he quoted me...no surprises with any additional cost. So, if you need paint or body work...."Take It To Tim's"!

I dropped it off to have the bumper replaced, which only took them 2 days. Not only did they replace my bumper, but they cleaned my car as well. Insurance covered everything (had I brought it to Honda I would have had to come up with part of the repair cost). A couple of weeks later I brought my car to the Honder dealership to get an alignment, and one of the mechanics said my car looked as though it had just come off the dealership's lot haha so yes, this place does amazing work!

Unfortunately our experience with Hemingways was negative.We had hail damage to be repaired so we…read morecarried it in for repairs. After a week with no update we called to check on the progress. It was parked behind their business, no work started.They were waiting for the insurance company to send a supplement.They inform us the hail damage team had left and would be back in 2 weeks SO we made an appointment and carried it back. What was scheduled 3-4 days ended up 8 days. We've had to take it back at least 3 times and not satisfied with the work yet. It had white substance on hood (glue), what looked like bubbles (they call trash) which they corrected. There is a Nick in the paint which they denied happened at their shop. Haven't told them about this yet but there is also a film on the windshield,they will have to clean that off. Lastly our car doors squeak when opened wide, I'm just stating they didn't squeak before the car went into their shop, hope no one was standing on the doors to get to the hail damage on the roof. Hemingways believe they do quality work, but I'm here to say it was not demonstrated on our vehicle. I hope our experiences with Hemingways doesn't happen to other patrons. We wanted to support Desoto Parish business but will not be taken any more of ours to this particular one. Hope this helps Sandra
