I can't say enough good things about Lark Skin Co.! I've been using their oils, balms, and toners ever since Yelp introduced me to this business at a Yelp Elite Event over a year ago! This past weekend Lark Skin had an INCREDIBLE online sale (Covid-friendly!) for Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday. Items were up to 30% off on Monday, so it made it too easy to order and try some new rave-reviewed products like their Aloe + Willow Bark Vitamin C Serum and Green Coffee + Avocado Awakening Under Eye Oil. (BTW, their oils are magic for skin during all times of the year, but especially winter when it gets cold and dry!) One thing I absolutely love about this company (aside from its amazing products) is the amount of customer service care Lark has for its customers. I had an issue with one of the promotional products not coming up, so I sent a quick email asking for some help. I received a friendly reply from Abby shortly after with an explanation and that she'd get everything sorted out no problem! Book your facial on their website now! They offer facials with custom oils and custom add on treatments. I was able to come for their birthday party last month and had my first facial here. The anti-aging oil was perfect for my old lady wrinkles (only slightly kidding). 30 minutes for a half hour treatment is certainly on par with what I've paid at other establishments. But here, I felt more at ease and less like they were trying to sell me something. My aesthetician had me fill in a brief facial survey, offered me a drink before we started, and gave me a quick tour of their products. For full facial sessions, you will work with your person to create a custom oil for your treatment. She taught me the correct way to use my jade roller (that I had bought previously from Lark at a popup market). She explained the correct way to use facial oil (lightest layer first: water/toner spritz, oil, then lotion). The shop smells wonderful! The staff seems genuinely happy to be there. There are many local goods for sale. There is even a selfie wall when you are feeling good after your facial! So many custom options for face oils, creams, or clay masks. If JVN lived in Saint Louis, he'd be here everyday. Julia R and I took a recent trip to Webster Groves just to come to this amazing shop to get our self-care on. First of all, cuteness overload. Well designed, you just fall in love when you walk in. It's a very photo-worthy establishment, good lighting, clean, amazing details. What brought me to Lark was a recent acne flare up (boo!). I am trying to use cleaner products that are better for my body and take care of some of the issues I have been having with my skin. Lark has natural and safe products, void of harmful chemicals that do wonder for your skin. I left that day with my first Lark product, The Balm...and it is the bomb. I have been using it this week and I already see decreased redness. My former face moisturizer was creating so much irritation and wasn't serving me, so I got rid of it and replaced it with this product. No regrets y'all. Best part? My acne is calming down. The smallest amount goes along way, so I know it will last me a while. They have a lot of product diversity. This store is absolutely adorable and is my new source for gifts for friends. All of the products in the store are all-natural. They offer a few different brands and they range in price. I got a great bronzer stick for $15. They also have this wall of potions and oils and you can work with them to create your own skin care treatments. This seems awesome to me. This is the kind of thing I'd give a friend a gift card for so they could go in and have the whole experience of making a mask or toner or something that they need. Everything also smells amazing.
