I'm a facial girlie - that's my fav treat. Recently my lady for the past 2ish years relocated. I chose bee naturals to try. Tyler was my esthetician. I'm having trouble with my words - he wasn't creepy at all ladies. He was super respectful to the point of using his pinky to get product under my lashes. We got started with questions on skin, This was your standard face/neck/ décolletage treatment area with massage while yoga music plays (idk but I need that music to fully chill). He did gua sha which was a unique touch. So my prior lady would let you steam in a hot towel and Tyler has a steamer. Idk which gets better results. Next time I'll chat with Tyler about that b/c I'd live in a hot towel if I could. Tyler was very easy to talk to. The products had minimal scent. This is better for my sensitive skin and anyone around me with allergies. I did find myself missing smelling like a flower exploded but seeing this mornings results...never mind. No scent needed. Self care mode.. my mom and I both had 75 minute microdermabrasion facials. It was wonderful the atmosphere is relaxing, cleaning and inviting. Ashley was wonderful with her explanations and suggests as was the young woman working the sales floor. They both were sweet as can bee (pun intended) and knowledgeable about the products. If you're not sure there is PLENTY of testers. I walked out with eye cream, glycolic acid cream, enzyme serum, body butter and hand cream. I tried the sugar scrub also it very nice and leaves you soft and moisturized I would 100% recommend them for facial, facial and body care products and they event take care of your pamper pooch with their all natural products! read more

Bee Naturals always has great products for my sensitive skin. I bought the Bee Gentle Essential Skincare System and the products markedly improved my skin's texture and tone. Both of the cleansers in that product kept my combination skin in balance. The CC Serum evened my skin tone to support a clean even complexion that reduced the amount of makeup I use daily. Last but certainly not least, the Clean & Gentle Facial Moisturizer helped my skin stay hydrated all day. This is especially important for me since I have combination skin. read more

Bee Naturals is tucked away from the main Maplewood business strip so it's easy to miss when you're shopping downtown but it's a must visit when you're looking for gifts for yourself or others. They have a great selection of bath and body products as well as a small spa offering massages and facials. The products are affordable and good quality. I usually come in for their baby and dog products as they are unique to other natural product stores in Maplewood. I've also been in for a massage and facial in the past which were both relaxing and enjoyable. Will definitely keep frequenting as a customer in the future. read more

This review is about the scheduling process for Groupon users. I have yet to experience any actual treatments at the Bee Natural spa because my appointment keeps getting cancelled. I got a Groupon in December and have been trying to get a massage ever since. Apparently they only have 1 massage therapist now (busy girl) with limited hours... Keep that in mind when you're scheduling or gifting. I'll update my review if I ever get to complete an appointment. Meanwhile I'll be going elsewhere for a massage because I need one NOW, not a month from now. read more

Came in for a 75 min facial with dermaplaning included that I bought off Groupon for $54. To be honest for that price I didn't really have high expectations for a 75 min facial, I knew it was too good to be true. The over all experience was just ok. Nothing more. The Aesthetician was really kind. But not really sure how knowledgeable or experienced she was since this facial was probably the worst I've had. The only really great part was the neck/shoulder massage. When it came to the dermaplaning it was pretty horrible. I have done my own dermaplaining at home but never included it in a facial appointment, I figured I would in this one since I was already buying the facial package thinking, how bad could it be? Well it was actually done pretty poorly. She ended up snagging/cutting my skin (pictures shown below) as she was doing it and during the process I could tell it was a dull razor with just the way it wasnt smoothly gliding on my skin. Plus after she did the dermaplaining I felt a burning/ irritation in my chin area. Sure enough when I got home the spots that felt tender and had a slight burning sensation were definitely snagged with the razor. Now I didn't really ask what kind of razor/blade she used to do the dermaplaining, trusting that since it was a spa it would have good quality tools but I should have known better with buying it on Groupon for such a cheap price everything wouldn't be up to par like usual spas. They also called me saying they were running late 10 mins so that way I would show up later and avoid waiting there which I do appreciate, but also if it wasn't a holiday weekend I'm not sure I wouldn't like things getting pushed back and being notified 20 mins before hand. I wouldn't personally recommend the dermaplaining at all but maybe their other services are better. Most likely will not be returning even though they were nice and friendly. Actual facial wasn't worth it even for $54+tip. read more

Ashley was so wonderful during my hot stone massage and dermaplaning facial! The company is owned by a retired nurse who creates all of their natural beauty products that they sell and use during their services. The spa is next door to the shop and it is so cute and relaxing. The hot stone scrub massage was AMAZING and by far the best massage experience I have ever had. They have a cute, clean shower for you to rinse off the exfoliating scrub. It was my first facial but I can not wait to get another! I was nervous to get the dermaplaning but it was so enjoyable and left my face literally glowing. I loved how many natural products were used along with a steamer on my face and multiple hot towels during the facial. It was literally two hours of pure bliss! I went in for a new client facial with Ellie yesterday. During my appointment, she noticed my skin was getting red during cleansing and felt it might do more harm than good to continue with my session that day (maybe bc of past differin use). She did not charge me and and rescheduled me for next week just in case to give my skin some more time. Because of this - she now has a lifelong client in me. Many estheticians would just continue on just to make the money for that appt. read more

This is a very enjoyable smaller spa that is very friendly and personable by always offering you water to or coffee. Sarah took great time and pleasure in reviewing my paperwork to plan the best facial type for me based on the needs I wanted to meet. She took the time to explain what she was doing and adjusted the process according to my needs and wants. Sarah also paid attention to our discussions and had a perfect color hydrating makeup base to apply to my skin in summer (I use bronzer in winter) waiting for my to review/followup after I came out of the dressing room. I also think their prices are better than other spas. I like the feel of shopping area as it is bright, everything is colored in white, and seems very clean. I would suggest tat they highlight prices better and use cuter/better bags (with their name at least stamped on it) to carry home their product that you purchase. That was oddly disappointing. Theres not many options for natural skincare solutions, but a wonderful and local solution is Bee Naturals. The shop is a little unassuming from the curbside, But once inside the products and estheticians are wonderful!!! Renee... she is Amazing! What a wealth of knowledge. Explaining things in a way I understand and not trying to sell me. She even took time to tweak my current skincare regimen. I received a skin analysis and a mini facial- I now know what types of products are good for my skin (and more importantly why). so far I'm loving the items I did purchase. They are uniquely formulated with natural products and locally made. I definitely plan on coming back for more products and more facials :) read more

This is the coolest little shop! I didn't see any street parking spaces available, but the manager happen to be standing out side and he told me the parking lot directly across the street was a public free parking lot. So glad I was informed! I'm glad I stopped in. The shop is cute and full of locally made products. I purchased a nice large bar of soap, some foot cream, some lip bank, and hand cream (was in the shape of a soap bar but is for repair of cracks or dry skin). I'm writing the review after I tried the products. They are amazing! As I checked out, I was also informed they have a full spa! Waxing, facials, and medical esthetics. I don't know of a place close by for Botox and filler. I have those items on Christmas list for friends and I'm glad I can buy them a gift card here for those services. I stumbled across Bee Naturals on a trip to Missouri to visit family. I bought the Baby Balm for my daughter because she has sensitive skin, and I use it on her entire body. It clears up any diaper rash, and her daycare even asked me what we used so they could recommend it to other parents. I've since bought some of their skincare products for myself, and I've enjoyed all the products I've tried. They last a long time, so I think the products are a good value. read more

I purchased a Groupon for a massage as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She tried to use it three times and each time, the appointment was rescheduled by the vendor. Because it was postponed so often, the Groupon expired, but they were still willing to honor it after the expiration date because of their many cancellations. Today, for the fourth scheduled appointment (really five because the time changed for today), she actually walked in, only to be told her appointment was cancelled due to the Coronavirus. Now I realize they have no control over pandemics, but because of their delays, I couldn't get a refund, only a credit from Groupon. This is such a terrible way to do business! And it ended up being a lousy gift for someone who needed a well-deserved massage. I don't know how they will keep their doors open at this rate. Too bad, because I would have liked to support a small-business. Will never patronize them again. Have nothing good to say at all. read more
