This business with the corporate office on Bishop Street in Framingham is a nightmare to work for!…read moreThere is something VERY shady going on with their finances. Pay for long term good standing employees is the lowest around while managers keep getting paid more and more! Bonuses were recently given out and just spread out with no explanation as to why or why not! Some people got thousands, some got a couple hundred & some got ZERO! Questions go unanswered when money is involved. Instead they dig into your work performance when it's time for them to provide explanations! It's unethical the way the higher ups keep climbing while they keep good employees earnings at poverty levels! Workloads are upwards of 60+ clients to one employee. No concern as to if the person you're helping is potentially dangerous as you're expected to work with sex offenders as well as convicted murderers unconditionally. BEWARE! The risk is NOT worth it at all!

The therapist I had MC is from a well to do environment and lacks compassion for the poor and disabled. This therapist was more focused on company protocol then my emotional state. At the end of the session I just needed "two more minutes of time" and I was told by this therapist "shoo-shoo" To this day, I feel I am worthless. Thanks a lot. I know another client who has severe issues and has been going to SMOC for years and in my observation this client has a lot of potential but SMOC lacks the ability to give her the tools to utilize the hidden talents. In my experience and what I have observed the therapists make George Washington aka the mighty ole buck their priority
