Julia had told me she designed and decorated the entire place herself (which even included the logo) which is quite impressive. She has a great eye for style and it shows in the welcoming, relaxing feel of her salon. The salon is also set in an old house, which makes it really cozy. Now onto the work that Julia does with her hair design. Today, I went in for cut and color. Before beginning, Julia made sure she had the exact idea of what I wanted from my visit down to every detail. She also spent a good amount of time going over my color choice for the day and making sure I was comfortable and excited about my new dye color. Julia is very knowledgeable about what colors and hair styles go well with your skin tone. She is very detailed oriented and she really wants to customers to love their hairstyle. While I was waiting for my dye to set, Julia offered me a cup of coffee or tea, whatever I wanted! This made the whole experience warm and relaxing. They're doing a great job with COVID protocols. You wait outside or in your car until called to come in, so that you're the only one in the main area during check in and check out. You have your temp taken and asked to sanitize your hands (or wash at the sink) before getting started. It's too soon to really report on overall changes to my skin's conditions, but my facial was thorough and relaxing, and my skin was positively glowing when I left. I don't say that lightly. Allison made a lot of great recommendations, and I picked up a hydrating serum there based on her recommendations. It's a calm, relaxing atmosphere and I feel comfortable and confident there.
