READ ALL OF IT BEFORE DECIDING YOUR CHOICES! After over 30 years of service between Shetler & Morgan Well Drilling across 2 generations, we have had, without question, the most out of pocket and selfish lack of services by a company I have seen in my lifetime. 2 years ago, we were forced to vacate our home due to a sewage backup. We were dislocated from our home for over 6 months in 2022. We were eventually able to return back, but even with homeowner's insurance, our savings were completely drained by this event. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to stay afloat and I was forced to file for Chapter 13 bankruptcy in 2023. Every other company, once the story was heard, sympathized with our situation & as our financial situation has resolved itself to where we are okay now, Morgan Well Drilling has chosen to selfishly withhold service from us, even though all remaining monies owed to them has been settled by the bankruptcy from the previous year. I write this in my home that currently has 2 children in it along with no running water of any kind. I have been contacting Morgan since 9am, who instead insists on "settling our debt" before they will perform services. I understand it's a business and I ate crow last year for having to make a difficult decision, but even the offer to pay for today's services in cash, they still refused services. As a father, I am okay with you being mad at me for things of the past, but to hold a grudge and now make children suffer for it is beyond forgiveness. This company, which "prides" itself on being "loyal and local", showed its true colors today. Their debts have been settled, so I owe them nothing at this time. Yet despite our pleas and also having an active warranty on our well pump, they still refuse service. To top it all off, not only did they refuse, they also threatened to blackball us to other drilling companies nearby to ensure we could not go with anyone else. All of this, again knowing full well that children are in our home. Before today, I would've never considered anyone else for this service as it has been great for over 30 years, starting with my mother and now me owning this home. After today, anything short of a formal and public apology for this complete disregard for human life in the name of profit and payment will be considered unacceptable in my eyes and my attorney will be spoken to upon the completion of our services by another company to review Morgan's business practices. There is a fine line between business and just plain human decency and Morgan crossed that line greatly today. To anyone considering them, please heed this story, make your own interpretations, but I would hire them with A GREAT AMOUNT of caution. Their service is no better nor worse than other choices in the area, but this will show you that if things get hard on you, don't count on them to be there for you when it matters most. read more
