We skipped breakfast in hopes of filling up on the garlic knots, salad, and pizza. Well...that never happened. We understand "busy" during a special event. However, there was no soda. Only water, Sprite, and sweet tea. Ordered garlic knots and 2 slices after we saw there was a huge wait for food to come out. 1 HOUR!!! After 1 hour we got 2 slices of pizza. Then 15 minutes later the garlic knots. The other 2 slices never showed up. The manager comped the food. That's nice. But, several opportunities to save face and show good customer service were passed over. The "ticket" issue was know long before we sat down. Server was clearly stressed out and overwhelmed. Management was more into socializing in the dining room that getting on the line to pump the food out. The slices we ate were "meh", not super warm and burned cheese on the bottom. Will we give them another chance? Maybe. There are other places with good pizza, like Twin Brothers, that acknowledge service issues when they arise and don't try to explain it away with excuses.

They insisted we come in and eat. The soup of the day was sold out (must've been amazing) but they offered us their full menu. We had the Ruben and Chicken Salad sandwiches with sweet potato fries. The chef, Melissa, did a phenomenal job. We loved our meals and the entire experience. My mom is elderly and can't eat chunky chicken salad. This one, she said, was much easier for her to eat. She said its flavor was so good and our waitress commented how it's a favorite among their customers. I loved the Ruben -- it had perfect flavor, the meat was just right, not stringy, and the bread was slightly buttered and toasted. The facilities are clean, ADA accessible, and the grounds are beautiful. We will definitely go back!
