I'm going to go out on limb here and give it 4 stars. If it were just up to the food, I'd probably stay at 3, but given the $29 all you can eat deal, and the main server Kevin's awesome attitude and food pusher attitude kick it up that extra notch. It just opened up a couple of weeks ago, so it's still new in the Glebe dining scene, but based off the crowds we've seen walking by other times, and when we were in, it's doing really well. The fish wasn't the top quality, but given the portion sizes and the vast options, it's goo enough. We loved the seafood hot pot, with crab, octopus, prawns, salmon head, and all kinds of veggies! And the Ishiyaki Bibimbab was smoking hot and cool to look at as well. We'll put this in the rotation for future feed-bag nights. Very cheap and great local Japanese restaurant. They do all you can eat buffet for $29.90 per person which is a good deal! We came as a group of 3 and we weren't that hungry so a la carte worked out to be a slightly better option for us this time. Sushi and sashimi were very fresh. The sashimi boat (large size) is a must get for raw fish lovers. Make sure you book as sometimes it can get booked out but relatively fast turnover so waiting a little bit is fine! read more

Super fresh sushi in a Glebe. Their all you can eat is THE best deal in town. Gyoza, salad, sushi, hot pot, tempora, yakatori and more is on the all you can eat menu! We love their Salmon with mustard and onions. I know that sounds different but try it!!! And their staff is delightful!! Sophia the host/server we normally get is awesome. DELICIOUS SUSHI! Large hand-rolls for only $3.50, and good beer deals mid-week. And stay open until late. We have had a few issues with miscommunication with our orders when we try to adapt a sushi (I.e adding avo to the roll and it comes out as a separate avo roll). The miscommunication comes from language barriers but that's not a huge problem and makes me feel the sushi is more authentic! Service staffs are always giving you the good vibes and the food is well prepared. The quality of their food is exceptional even if theirs is not that expensive. We come here atleast once a week to enjoy their food. That's how satisfied we are with their food and service. read more

We looked up the closing time before we went. Their website said 10:30. Indeed... it says the same thing in big print on their menu. However, we were informed, upon being seated at 9:05, that they stop taking orders for the All You Can Eat at 9:20!! Needless to say this was somewhat annoying, as trying to gauge your entire AYCE meal in one shot is tricky. Still... we gave it a go. And if that was all, I'd be giving this a decent review. The waitress warned us that some other people had ordered food ahead of us, so we might have to wait 10 minutes. About forty minutes later, the first of our sushi arrived! We also had to ask for ginger three times over 15 minutes before they brought a little. Another black mark for service. Finally, there was the quality of the sushi: BAD. I'm not talking about the fish. The fish was decent enough, though nothing to rave about... but there was almost none of it. My wife an I have eaten at a fair number of AYCE sushi places over the years. So, we're used to seeing smaller pieces of fish that for an a la carte order. But this took the prize by a mile. The nigiri was tiny slivers of fish perched atop giant mounds of rice. The specialty rolls were similar; the dragon roll had a pencil thin core of prawn tempura surrounded by a giant wad of rice the diameter of a lemon! Oh, and they smeared various types of mayonnaise all over (and inside) their rolls. To top it off, they burned the eel. Meanwhile, while they were passing off giant gobs of rice on us... they didn't bring 4 of the dishes that the Italian couple sitting at the next table ordered. Their explanation, when the couple asked? They ran out rice!! Now, I don't know if they're lying or simply incompetent. Either way, the All You can eat was the second worst sushi meal I've ever had. (The worst one actually made me sick) I took pictures of the sad sad sushis... but I can't figure out how to attach them. Anyway. Pass! read more

I went back to Mori and surprisingly, the amazing server, Kevin still remember me and reminded me to try out the hotpot that we missed last visit. So we did try the hotpot and it was pretty good, the chilli soup in particular. It was a homemade soup cooked by lots of veges and seafood I reckon as it tasted pretty sweet. The quality of the food remains as good as we had last time. Still, the bonus is Kevin, who actually gave us a free Green Tea Latte, just to get us to try! Awesome attidude, so I gave him an extra 5 dollars for the Latte as a gratitude. I will go back again, just for the great deal and awesome services! read more
