While the meal was satisfactory and the service excellent, by far the highlight of my experience was the respectful and ever-erudite Nayeed, an old Etonian with a classical education. We conversed over light topics like the impact of the death of Tiberius on Roman class consciousness, the legacy of the arts and crafts movement of the 19th and early 20th century, and ways to combat the youth's declining interest in Latin and Ancient Greek.
