We are currently staying at a casino/resort near by but really are not the biggest people on gambling. We knew we wanted to explore around the town and fine fun places to go to. This place was the only one in the local area that really sparked our interest. We are so so happy we came here. This was exactly the meal we were looking for. The lady that took our order was so sweet. Very patient with us while we decided what we wanted. We got the two sandwiches pictured and they were delicious. we also got an iced tea and iced dirty chai and they were so good. The owner of this little strip mall shop could not be any more friendly or personable. Just a great guy who makes you feel like a friend from the moment you walk in. The place is also very comfortable and has reading material and a nice restroom so you could stay and hang for a while if you want. We ordered the egg bagel because it was our breakfast. For $8.99 we expected a bakery fresh bagel but it appeared to be packaged bagels from the grocery store. The eggs were fresh cooked so that was good. Overall it wasn't very filling and I would order a sandwich next time. We ordered coffee to go after eating and the nice gentleman gave us a small discount. Stopped by after checking out of Harrah's for a coffee and egg sandwich and both were delicious! Better than anything at Harrah's. Came into Morning Joy looking for a quick and healthy breakfast. Nick and Kalysta were so amazing! They had a gluten free option for all of their sandwiches. They were kind and helpful. It was one of those experiences where you hoped you weren't traveling because you would want this Cafe to visit every morning in your home town. It felt like such a pleasant community. What a great little hidden gem! Check out the decor very welcoming made me want to hang out for a few hours. We played tic-tac-toe read the paper. I had the Cindy sandwich and the turmeric, mesquite latte. I added a little cinnamon on top . My friend had the locks no more on her bagel with cream cheese. My family and I all had breakfast, coffee, and smoothies here this morning. Our overall experience was excellent. The gentleman working was very friendly and polite. He was patient with our large order and was very fast getting everything out to us. Everything was clean and pleasant to sit and enjoy our order.
