My best friend had to go vegan for her health and that's made it quite challenging to find a good place to eat in Kingman. I saw an advertisement for this spot on a billboard in town and for our next lunch this is where we went! Really enjoyed the fresh food, clean, bright, environment and friendly staff. The food is made right in front of you in the open kitchen area and the soups are made fresh daily. The juices are great, bread is crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, soups are fresh and flavorful, and I really enjoyed my acai bowl it was very refreshing. Fantastic healthy spot with vegan options and locally sourced ingredients. Highly recommend! read more

So nice to find a healthy restaurant in Kingman and the location is great, right next to historic Route 66 buildings and fun shops. We had the country vegetable soup which was chock full of veggies and nice and thick, plus the southwest power bowl salad which was very filling with black rice, beans, avocado and a corn salsa plus greens and a nice lime based dressing. We also had the Focus Fuel smoothie - thick and satisfying. This will be a regular stop for us when traveling on I-40. read more

Roadtrip and needed a break from fast food, and wife wanted something fresh (healthy), definitely not my usual. Great mural outside drew us to this spot. Parking was a little difficult to figure out at first as there was a Friday street party going on later in the day. Friendly Staff pointed out where to park. So glad to find this spot via Yelp reviews for some healthy/nutritious vegan food options that were so delicious! I needed some greens so I opted for the Dr. Green (Coconut Water/Mango/Pineapple/Kale/Lemon/Spinach/Parsley). My first time having parsley in a smoothie and I was pleasantly surprised. This was a really great smoothie and I'm so glad I ordered it! We were going to get a juice, but unfortunately the juicer wasn't working at the moment so we opted for something g different and ordered the Monkey Business smoothie (Almond Milk/Banana/Peanut Butter/Cocoa). Thick & delicious! Yum. Sort of balanced out the Dr. Green! We also ordered the Avocado Toast (Toasted Sourdough Bread with an Avocado Spread, Onion, Tomato, Sprouts, and Hemp Heart on top). On the way to CA and being a vegetarian, I asked my hubs to stop here for lunch. The avocado toast was a joke. The bread looked like one tiny piece that was cut in half. Then it was covered in onions. When my hub complained to me about it, I was shocked at seeing it! I wish I had taken a picture. Along with being hungry, I think I was in shock that someone would actually take money and call it "avacado toast"! My soup was ok and the loaf of sourdough we bought was delicious. This is a great little healthy and delicious quick stop while going through town. The owner was so nice and accommodating. When I asked for a salty smoothie to help with my blood pressure she busted out the most tasty salted peanut butter banana drink for me. I also got a bowl of soup and it was a big hit with my kids. It tasted fresh and appeared to be good quality. The cashier said they haven't had their grand opening yet, but they still have a decent variety to offer! I ordered a personal pizza called the Classic Pep with some breadsticks with marinara and a drink. The breadsticks were basically a 10 inch cheese pizza with more dough and less cheese, but they were still pretty good. The pizza came about five minutes later and the personal pizza was a tiny pizza, maybe around seven to eight inches, and the pizza was good, but not too great for its small size. Still had leftovers, though. Service was good. When someone comes into here, they have to look at the menu upfront and order at the counter, find a seat of their choice and fill their drink and then it goes from there. Pretty simple. Floyd's seems to be a Stubborn soda fan, which I approve of. The man at the counter actually recommended the breadsticks, and now I realize that the pizza isn't enough to fill me or most anybody. It's mostly an at-the-counter style service, except they bring the food to you. Inside was great. The entrance is a little tight, but there's two sides of the restaurant and I sat down in the right side from the door, so I can't say about the left side. One of my favorite things inside was the drink machine had those levers on it, it just felt much better to pull that for drinks than pushing a button. Overall, Floyd's is a great place to eat for everyone. The food is good, the service is great, and inside is comfy and wooden. One thing I would hope for Floyd's is to make their pizza bigger, their personal pizzas are much like those kid menu pizzas. I'll probably try a sandwich next time. Thank you.

Just wanted to share how much I loved my fresh-pressed juice the other day! I also grabbed a couple of those yummy little protein balls - they looked so yummy. I even smelled the soup - it was amazing! Unfortunately, I was on my way to Vegas, so I had to grab something quick to eat on the road. But seriously, the flavors were fantastic! The juices and bowls here are amazing! I wasn't as impressed with the salad I tried, although it sounded really healthy and unique. It's become the weekly date place for some of my gym buddies. I would suggest putting the menu in the window or at least have a second tv screen displaying the menu at the back of the line. Currently there is only one screen which is at the very front before you order and isn't visible until you reach that point so you have no idea what is offered until you are at the front to place your order. One thing I really liked about the tv menu board is they update the choices in real time. They ran out of one of the pork choices and the menu was immediately updated so you could make a contingency plan. Nice touch! Wishing Nui Valley good luck here in Kingman! It's nice to have another choice for dining.

Only downside was that I added a two dollar charge for teriyaki beef, and it was tough to eat. Too chewy and overcooked. Besides that if I lived in Kingman I'll probably eat this more often.
