Staff members appeared to be jumping between tasks at random, reacting to whatever came up rather than following an organized system. Compounding the issue was a noticeable lack of leadership on the floor--no one directing traffic, prioritizing orders, or keeping the operation moving efficiently. The result was a chaotic service environment where customers were left waiting and wondering what was happening with their order. As for the food, the bagels themselves were perfectly adequate but ultimately unremarkable. In a market where great bagel shops thrive on both quality and efficiency, "fine" simply isn't enough to outweigh a frustrating service experience. With stronger operational structure and visible leadership during peak hours, this shop could likely improve the customer experience significantly. For now, however, the combination of disorganization and underwhelming food makes it difficult to justify a return visit. read more

I don't know how they do it. But we have been there like 20 times and they've never gotten our order wrong (knock on wood). Don't go here if you do store bagels as it will absolutely ruin you for any other bagel and force you to travel 2-3 times a week like we do from Conway. read more

Brooklyn better watch out! This joint will satisfy your craving for a good boiled and baked bagel. Although there is not much competition for good home style bagels in Arkansas these bagels will stand tall and round in their own right. They do look on the lightly toasted side than what New Yorkers are used to, and I am curious to know if they use an egg glaze or not, but the cranberry bagels and the sesame bagels we had for the sandwich were great and fresh. Just the right degree of chewiness. We went on a Saturday morning and the folks at the counter were friendly and welcoming. The variety was limited however. The $4 day old bagels are a tempting offer. The $6.15 sandwich is a steal. Also the ice cubes for the iced coffee is a neat idea! The seating are is cozy with the electric fireplace adding a touch of quirk. The Limited glimpse into the kitchen from the seating is cute as well. In the wake of Covid-19, there has been a shortage of restaurants (in my area) that serve breakfast. MorningSide bagels is one of the only places that can serve breakfast both quickly and deliciously. Since I found out it is still in business during these times, I have spent enough hours there to be considered a worker! Yummy!!! The Hamlet is really good unique spin in a breakfast bagel. I enjoy the iced coffee - which they make with frozen coffee cubes instead of standard ice. If you get there and have a hankering to take some home - always check out their day old bin. A great bargain for their yummy bagels. The sitting area is a little small, but is comfy and the bathrooms are always clean. A bonus for kids (if you get there early enough) is that you can see the bagels being made. I believe I was charged 1.50 for adding creamer to my $6 coffee. I feel like that's excessive. The guy asked how the meal was and I asked if they usually toast the bagels. He assured me me that it was a lite toast, how most people like it but did not offer to remedy.
