On the verge of giving up, we were directed to Retour and wow, what a find! We had to convince the chef to take us at 11:01pm and after some pleading, he offered us 2 steaks: Take it or leave it. After settling in to a table and grooving with the wonderful jazz music that created a hip vibe we were treated to some yummy home cooked bread & a perfectly dressed green salad. What came out of the Kitchen next were 2 thick, juicy, perfectly cooked slabs of Uruguayan Ribeye heaven that positively exploded in your mouth with flavor! The thick cut french fries were cooked to crispy perfection and the Bernaise sauce accompanying the meat was delicious, but unnecessary.
