The denial was allegedly based on income verification--a critical issue that should have been addressed weeks earlier in the process. Instead, this lender failed to identify and resolve these problems UNTIL the final hour, causing immense stress and MAJOR disruption. Such a lack of foresight and thoroughness reflects POORLY on their professionalism and operational efficiency. The last-minute denial not only caused unnecessary complications for all parties involved, but one can imagine how this type of situation has impacted someone's life! This kind of abhorrent service is UNACCEPTABLE and should be avoided by anyone looking to close a deal professionally, smoothly and reliably. DO NOT leave your home purchase at the hands of Embrace. The problem was that my loan officer Francki DiFrancesco repeatedly lied and mislead me about working on lowering my interest rate. She was careful to do this by phone so that there wasn't a paper trail and then by the time she admitted the rate wouldn't change, it was too late.
