The dishes were not clean, the grill was extremely dirty, there were only a small portion of amenities and we didn't want to use them because it was so dirty. There was no coffee pot as stated. The pictures were very misleading. The boats were disgusting and full of water. The bed was a futon style that didn't flatten, so it was a very uncomfortable night. We didn't use the outhouse/composting toilet or shower because that area was also a mess. We for sure weren't going to use the hot tub based on the rest of the site. We contacted the company and gave us a full refund. I just wish we didn't have to waste our time, money and energy on this. Now we are back home and pretty disappointed.

I'm unsure who reads these, but if you're one to do so... consider this an important read…read more My family moved from an apartment complex into one of the houses owned by HPM. Though the onboarding experience was rough and didn't feel the most welcoming, we persisted and found a beautiful home to rent. When we moved from onboarding to the move-in team, things improved quickly, and they were quick to accommodate an accelerated move-in date since the house was available. The rental experience after was seamless with an easy portal for payment, quick response for questions... but this is IMPORTANT part to read. On a Saturday afternoon we were running the washing machine when the septic system became overloaded and backed up. We were quick to shut off the water and ensure that the property would be safe, but Andrew at HPM took the brunt of very scared tenants, and treated us with humanity and dignity. Andrew was quick to respond and came the next day to take a look at the system. After a day of in-depth searching to find where the septic tank was and another day of waiting for the Septic company to arrive... Monday arrived and the tank was emptied. You could say that Andrew was prioritizing the property management aspect, but that's the furthest from the truth. He was patient and understanding while we called and were crude/frustrated. He took the time to gather information about what was going on, calming down us in the process, and explaining his process/method to the madness. He treated us better than we deserved in the moment, and was able to work quickly on resolving a very critical issue. Besides the onboarding experience, we have had nothing but a 110% effort put into our experience and wellbeing as tenants. We personally are grateful to Honest Property Management, and hope to stay at minimum within their property system... well hopefully indefinitely! But truly, I'd recommend anyone who's concerned about renting from HPM take those concerns, and talk to a member of the HPM team like Andrew. You won't regret it!

Worst customer service. Stayed in Riverfront condo while the condo was clean to the eye we found…read moreseveral issues. First the living room furniture smelled like old wet dog and was broken so every time you sat on it it made a terrible noise. The beds were horrible so old and uncomfortable that not even children could have a good night's sleep on the twin beds. Master bed was just a giant hole with a fluffy pillow topper on it. The refrigerator compressor was broken so every time it turned on the person closest to the kitchen was woken up by the loud noise. And lastly there were rodents in the unit. When we did call and let them know about the rodents they sent someone out to place traps. The gentleman was sweet however when he left there were greasy rodent poison fingerprints all over the refrigerator, the counter and the stove that he touched. Loon Mountain Services did not care and we ended up leaving early because we could not sleep another night thinking there were rodents running around us. Even though we left early and left the unit spotless we were not offered any apologies nor will we offered any discount or credit. These people are only after your money. Also to clarify that I spent a lot of time in the condo because I was not feeling well. Before I arrived I did let loan services know that I was very ill. I went online and checked the availability of the condo we rented and also of two other condos they managed. The three condos we're wide open with no other reservations until October. I asked if it was possible to move our reservation since I was not feeling well to another weekend. I did not ask for a refund. The woman laughed at me and said well I guess you'll just have to cancel and no we're not giving you your money back. So I did go on the trip and I spent a lot of time in the condo so the issues of the rodents, the noise and the smell were ones that I witnessed firsthand for many hours.
