But our child's teacher had a multi-page matrix for our child's cognitive, motor, and emotional (maybe more) development. My wife and I were floored. The teacher asked if we had any questions at the end of the conference. We were like, "we love you?" When we met with the director for our first tour, she explained how their goal was to raise nice, respectful citizens. For example, they teach recycling. When we visited the class rooms with the director, the kids knew her by name and were excited to see her. This did not happen at the other learning center we visited. We later discovered the director enthusiastically leads sing-alongs. Lil Goldman has relieved our stress from raising our first child. We could not have been happier with our choice.

We feel that Lil Goldman offers a safe, fun environment. We have experienced three different pre-Ks because we've moved a few times and Lil Goldman is by far the best one we've experienced. There are much better places in town to entrust with the care of your precious children. Our child was only at the academy for one month but during that time he managed to catch three potentially severe respiratory diseases (all laboratory confirmed) which makes us wonder about the sanitation practices up there. Just know that if the director Jill badly mishandles something concerning your child as she did with ours and you call her out on it and ask to discuss it with her she will likely be too big of a coward too talk with you, at least in my experience. Do your precious child a favor and stay away from this place!

In his old school, our son felt stupid and bullied. Now, he's planning to go to college. In the old school, he was frustrated that he couldn't memorize plays to the coach's satisfaction. At Hill, he played basketball, football, and ran track, and on several of the sports, his teams competed at state. This is the only review I've ever written on Yelp. Ever. My only wish is that we discovered Hill sooner. Teachers meet students where they are at and help them grow. Social-emotional development is also a big area of focus. Students are kind towards each other and they engage in projects to teach them things like gratitude and appreciation for others. FWA also has a great sense of community. If there is ever a concern school leadership is there to listen and help any way they can. I'm so glad I found this school for my child.
