The pink palace is a unique color for a palace, surprised that it was never changed over the centuries, but maybe it was maintained because it really stands out. It's a nice place to take a turn or two in the gardens, which is simple but well maintained and nicely manicured.

It was one of the only places that didn't remind me how absolutely depressing European weather can get. We always called it a bath house but I'm not sure what its really is called. They have an indoor pool with a huge slide and fun stuff for kids and adults. They have an outdoor pool also but I never got a chance to use it. I'm not sure why. Oh, maybe it's because German summers only last literally 2 months. I'm so glad I'm back in sunny California. What's awesome about this place is the massages and spa facility. The massages are very affordable for American standards plus you get use of all the wet and dry sauna rooms. I usually always got the swedish massage with infrared but once I got a Turkish massage (Türkische Gelenkmassage) which was unique. You lay on this warm stone bed in a huge shower like room. You basically get massaged and scrubbed head to toe. Not for the modest because you are naked. In fact spa etiquette over there is always "naked." I highly recommend this place. It's one of the many places I miss so much.
