Joanne Selman refuses to send a check in my name or in my brother in-laws name only as there is no more accounts left in her name. She is holding fund and will not work with us by sending the check in either my name or my brother in-laws name, (both of us are on the lease as well) claiming she has no proof that my sister has passed. Even now they have the death certificate she refused to talk to any of us without yelling "I have had enough" and hanging up. I only ask for a bit of understanding and compassion in this matter and it is clear she lacks the professionalism needed to run this property management business. She just goes on and on about needing a something from an attorney but can't tell me what document she needs to handle this situation so we can all move on. I highly recommend you look for any other options before renting from this company. She will do everything in her power to stand in the way of you getting your deposit back and try to make you out to be the villain in her story.

Everything was done through their portal and I could never reach anyone…read more I had a complaint that they never fixed so I decided to leave my apartment and they gave some BS reasons for not giving the security deposit back despite me turning in the pre move in checklist to their workers and having pictures of the apartment from the date of move in. I couldn't even reach someone to give 30 day notice. The Michigan office didn't know who to contact at the Moses Lake office to help me. They also didn't inform me of someone moving and taking over my lease till I asked. I had to file in small claims so that they would take me seriously about getting my money back. They apparently lost my address after I gave it to their worker, Samantha twice. After I moved out, they started having people in the office. I contacted them through the portal to let the them know that I was coming to meet them (after driving 2 hours to them twice) and they deleted my portal account to contact them. According to the property manager, it was "standard procedure" but I guess they forgot to delete the three tenants before me in my apartment. Moses Lake is a small town, that knows everybody...The staff in the office changed every single month. Oh and they don't respect the people they hire to clean the properties. It's been over 7 months and I know someone who STILL HASNT BEEN PAID BY THIS COMPANY. Shady. Hopefully this review will do something. But probably won't. This company is going under, so if you're having difficulties, get your money while you still can. They'll be bankrupt soon.
