This office will deliberately stall prescription refills to force unnecessary follow up…read moreappointments. After calling 5+ times over the span of 2 weeks, told the prescription was being worked on each time, I was chastised by the nurse for missing a 6 month follow up appointment for which no reminder was sent, and when confronted for her unprofessional tone, she proceeded to hang up immediately. Like the very second her tone was returned to her, 'click.' Super unprofessional and frankly unhippocratic to gatekeep prescriptions for monetary gain BEYOND the hundreds paid hitherto. The medicine in question? Finasteride for hairline preservation, which is available by mail and advertised everywhere now. It would be different if this were for cancer treatment! Advice to the office: pick your battles and be content with the revenue collected thus far without pushing your luck- too far to avoid a scathing review in this case.

Dermatologist Specialist of Florida- Panama City Beach Florida and billing department Panama City,…read moreFlorida Poor Customer Service -Bad experience- I recd. a text from a debt collector- Gulf Coast Collection Bureau on behalf of Dermatology Specialist. I knew I didn't owe anything. I stopped by yesterday. They were closed. I went back today. The reception's said I owed $80. I asked her to print me an itemized statement since I had not been in to have any service in sometime. She got someone to help her print a statement . The person said there are two co-pays due : Statement shows co-pay due of $35 from 2/22/24 and the next for a copay for 10/1724. I statement would have been mailed to house. I said I paid co-pays when I had services. I told them I had specifically asked no mail go to my house and all should be text or email since trouble getting mail. They gave me the # to call billing 850-233-3376ext6220. I called while at their office. Recording said no ext6220 exists. I called # back listened to the prompts and hit #3 for billing ( also let receptionist know not to give out ext 6220 since there is not one for customer calling. After reaching #3 billing I explained the situation- paid co-pay when had visits- she said I would need to go back records for last year to find receipts. I asked her the name and number for CEO to place and executive complaint. She said would have to call back. Another person called back ( not sure if 1st person or 2nd was named Carley) This person offered me a 10% discount if I paid today. I reviewed details with her and I asked why should I pay for something that I already paid . Why was I turned over to a credit collection when could have called me directly a year ago. 1.)She said not to worry it was a soft collection . I said it's stressful to get a text about collection about a company that had my phone #- there are a lot of scams.2.) It was a inconvenience to drive to the PCB office to get print out. I asked why they claim they didn't collect money when I was in their office last year? They don't know. Why didn't they email or call me . She said they don't email. However, I 'd always gotten email reminders regarding appointment. Why didn't they call me? She said they only recently started calling people 3.)It's another inconvenience to be told to research for payment receipt from a year ago4.) I asked her the name of CEO and phone # . She said I would have to look on the website. I asked her if she did not have could she text me the name and number . We were disconnected- no text . It was an insult to evade giving info request referring me to research on line 5. ) It was an insult to offer me a 10% discount on 2 co-pays already paid. Now I am left 1.)to find time to go back a year to research payment receipts 2.) research Executive Complaint Dept. CEO for Panama City Dermatology Specialist. file complaint3.) file complaint with Better Business Bureau 4 ) Find a new Dermatologist
