I was having some resurgent trauma-related problems from being assaulted in the past and was seeking guidance through them. Calling to set up an appointment was straightforward, I had read the online profiles of the professionals and asked if I could see someone in particular (as of writing this review on Saturday 17 June 2023, the person is no longer listed as working at Bluestone). After describing my situation to the receptionist, they said that it sounded like the person I was requesting could be a good fit. So we scheduled an intake appointment in an online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the first appointment we set up weekly sessions thereafter until I was feeling confident enough to part ways with the therapy about two months later. I received a bit of talk and EMDR therapy in my sessions. The therapist was never short with me and I found the treatment effective for helping me work through my problems. She was professional in our sessions and never prying. I have continued to use some of the things I learned in the sessions after stopping the therapy sessions.

I felt that she was very impersonal and straight to the point. I never felt that much compassion from her. In addition, I felt that she did not have great bedside manner or manners with me at all. I felt her customer service to me was not that great. I had to cancel at the last minute a couple of times due to an emergency, and the practice and Dr. Peng told me they had to charge me a fee. Bluestone showed me no mercy, and Dr. Peng did not seem to show me any either. I felt that she also did not properly understand my conditions either. I also didn't like that when I made no follow up appointments with her that Dr. Peng reached out to me multiple times and asked me if I was interested in continuing with her. Well obviously, if I have not called you or made an appointment with the practice in months, it's evident I am no longer interested. In the end, I am glad I left. I would not recommend this practice or Dr. Peng at all. In my opinion, they have no understanding for when life situations come up and I did not feel there was good communication or compassion towards patients either by either Dr. Peng or the staff of bluestone.

I then mentioned that I've called multiple times and was never informed of that and they said I can just come in one of those days and be seen. She was very rude and condescending and responded that how are they supposed to know that I had private insurance yet they pulled up my profile when I've called. Overall she's terrible and shouldn't be working with people especially if an establishment that is intended to deal with people with behavioral issues.

The new directors new rule: You can't get carries if you 'carry' a balance of more than $100. Basically, I'm being punished because I was broke and uninsured for a short time. However Angela K. who ive only seen 3 times, decided to instead of just notating the medication she prescribed me, she decided to Blatantly Lie and not mention the one medication that does help me and offer her defaming opinion. She then went as far as to say she never prescribed that medicine and call the pharmacy that gave it to me. So continuing with her intentional distress, did not wait for the pharmacy to confirm where the medicine was coming from. My guess is it was because she all ready new, but continued to then try to tell me she did not prescribe that medicine. All this was going on while she had a student from University of Washington sitting in on the visit. In my opinion, she is obviously only working in this position for her own nefarious agenda and is not actually a doctor that wants to help her patients. Not only with m e but while waiting in the lobby for an appointment, I witnessed another patient blow up in her office stating she had him on so many medications he couldnt think straight due to her intentional distress. They only offer 2 prescribing doctors and one is a blatant liar with records to prove that. Its very discouraging if your already dealing with behavioral mental health to have the doctors office that your shitty medicaid insurance only allows you to go to then become untrust worthy. She clearly operates with bad faith!
