I made an appointment and was told it would be about an hour and a half. I then waited three hours for an oil change. Maybe I'm spoiled by visits to other Midas locations, but that seems an excessive amount of time to wait. While I was there, a guy came in who also had an appointment and was told the same hour and a half time estimate as I was but he actually walked out after they explained that even with an appointment it's still first come first serve. The waiting room was a bit dirty (yes, I realize it's a car place, but if you have to spend three hours there it could be nicer). If you bring your car here, I suggest dropping it off and collecting it later. I do not recommend waiting, as their estimates seem to be incorrect. There does not seem to be any point in making an appointment. I suppose I should have found somewhere else to take my car when I requested an appointment via the internet on the Midas website and was not contacted as the site promises (this is what I do with the Midas back home). Since I've had good experiences at other Midas shops I decided to try this one anyway. While they were friendly, they did not go over the results of their courtesy check with me and they also left a dirty rag in the inside of my car. I have no reason to suspect that they did anything incorrectly, but I will not bring my car here again if I can help it.

My husband and I purchased a 2026 Honda CRV on August 8, 2026. We haven't purchased a new vehicle…read moresince 2011. But it was time to do so. We chose Community Honda because it was a brand-new location and we thought that they would have a current inventory. When we first got there, we were instantly greeted by a salesman, we told him that we were looking for a CRV. We initially purchased a metallic gray one, but after a day of using the car, I realized I had made a mistake, I didn't like the car at all. I really wanted a red car; this one was gray. I drove to my daughter's house to show her the car, she looked at the paperwork and realized that the numbers weren't correct. She brought it to my attention. A few days later we had to go back to the dealership to pick up some new keys. The salesman saw us in the parking lot, he came to greet us again. He said that the key fob had come in. I told him that we needed to speak with the financial man, because we had some questions about the paperwork. We entered his office and I asked him about a $2,400 charge on the sales paper. He said that it was for the "options" I had chosen. I told him that I had not selected any extra options. Then he said that it was for the nitrogen in the tires and the special "caps" that go on the tire stems to hold in the nitrogen. after a google search, I realized that there are no special caps, the only difference between caps is that if they have nitrogen in them, the cap should be a green cap. Either one will hold the nitrogen in the tires. Then he said that they were putting wheel locks on the wheels so that my rims can't be stolen, I told him that I had not opted for that, then he said the Weather Tech floor mats were another option I had chosen. I then made it very clear that I hadn't chosen any other options, nothing had been asked of me about options at all. They just put the $2,400 charge without asking me. He said he would remove the charge and write a check for the amount. But asked me about returning the car. He said that the salesman had mentioned that I had really wanted a red CRV originally, I told him that I did want a red one. He said that he had a red one coming in in a few days, he said it would be there Thursday or Friday. It ended up coming in on Tuesday. The financial man did compensate me for my troubles; he sold me the red car for less that the red one, he thought it was going to be a wash, but he ended up owing me $1,200 after it was all said and done. I received a typical survey via email a few days later. I answered the questions according to my experience. Only to receive a phone call from the customer service representative from Community Honda asking me to change my answers because bonuses would be affected and that because of the survey I turned in would bring the dealership to the bottom of the barrel. I actually thought about changing my mind and redoing the survey. She even offered me free oil changes for 7 years. I thought about it, but then I decided to check reviews on the dealership and found that there were several reviews stating the same thing. Charging them $2,400 for options that they hadn't chosen. The woman from the dealership who is in charge of the customer service called me every day for 4 days wanting me to change the survey. She gave me an email to write the corporate and request a new survey, she gave me a phone number to call them to ask them to resend the survey, which I did. But never received a new survey. The last time I spoke to her she told me that she is off on the weekend, so she gave me her personal cell phone number so that I could call her if the email came through on the weekend because she is off. I would avoid this dealership at all costs; they are not honest and only worry about their bottom line and not the customer, they are slick about sliding in charges that you have not requested.

I presented the item and receipt for item to Shane. Before actually taking a look at the receipt his first response to me was I don't have the cash to do a return. My response to Shane was if you were to look at the receipt you would see that I paid for this item with a credit card. Since it was purchased online 3 days ago. Then he tells me I don't know if I'll be able to do a credit. My response to Shane was that I'll have to get with either his manager or j contact someone in your corporate office and ask him why the employees can't do credits for items purchased online/with credit card. Once I mentioned this he's not knowing how to do his job changed. supposedly knowing how to do a credit disappeared. He was able to take care my credit quick fast and in a hurry. But this does not make up for the funky attitude. One that someone in management or corporate needs the address. Shane needs to realize he comes to work to work not just stand around and do nothing, not stand in the back of the store and talk to coworkers. He comes to work to work plain and simple. If he didn't want to do that on this particular day he should have stayed his butt home.
