I started my journey at MFC 4 months ago. It seems like forever! My nephew and his girlfriend invited me to the Metabolism Siminar. That day changed my life. It was the motivation that I needed to try something new to make my life better. Since the age of 16 I battled severe migraines. I spent years taking medication that only partially relieved the symptoms and pain. I spent many days and nights sleeping on the bathroom floor because that was the darkest place in my house. I learned to live with this 3-4 times a month. 9 years ago I was diagnosed with Uterine Fibroids and ovarian cysts. I suffered from non-stop bleeding for the next 9 years. I couldn't cough, laugh, exercise or even just sitting down and getting up without flooding. I learned to always carry and extra change of clothes with me at all times. I could no longer do the every day tasks like carrying groceries or giving the dogs a bath. I would even have to work from home on some days when I couldn't even move because of the hemorrhaging. The only solution I was given was that I needed a hysterectomy. Without health insurance that was out of the question. After meeting Dr. Moss and his staff I knew right away that I had made the right decision. Fast forward three months and my results are unbelievable! I haven't had a single migraine since starting my treatments. I now have a regular monthly cycle which I have never had! I have lost 20 pounds and several inches. I get so many compliments on how much younger and healthier I look. I can't even remember feeling so good! God's timing is perfect. He knew exactly where I needed to be. Why did I go in the first place? My family has been seeing Dr Moss for over 10 years. When I first found him, like many, I sought chiropractic care because I was injured. As a soccer coach I felt the need to pretend I was 18 again and In doing so, pulled something in my hip/lower back. Additionally as a teacher, I had pain and numbness from my neck down to my right elbow. Hunched over my computer and Grading papers really started to put me in c shape. Results? Within a week, the pain and numbness in my neck, shoulder and elbow subsided. I was getting temporary relief from the hip adjustments and Dr Moss continued trying different methods to get results. In the end, he actually was the first one to diagnose that I had a labral tear in my hip joint. An orthopedic surgeon confirmed this shortly after. All that to say, Dr Moss will tirelessly and with full compassion and empathy seek to get you well. Your whole body health is his number one goal. I'm in my forties and certainly no spring chicken, but I have been able to maintain good health and fitness through seeing him weekly and keeping my body primed and ready for daily life. Why do I return? Throughout the years he has helped me through so much more than that first injury. He has educated me on health, wellness, cancer, nutrition, and clean living. He has seen me through two pregnancies, adjusting my ribs, moving the baby off my sciatic nerve, and all the other fun uneasiness of carrying a baby. I started going to Dr. Moss after my husband began to be treated there. How it all began: I am one of the "if it doesn't hurt, you are fine" type of people and since I wasn't having major pain (nothing Aspirin can't fix) I didn't see any reason to go. However, after going to one of their orientation, I was hit with the realization that our bodies are constantly aging and the symptoms of pain is due to an issue that has been left untreated. After I went in for a consult Dr. Moss pointed out things that I had not bothered to worry about as I figured that it was part of aging or "everyone experiences that." He pointed out that this was an inaccurate assumption and that he could aid my body in healing itself - the way God designed it.
