They even finished the job a day early, so when every other company has negative reviews about delays and hiccups. You have nothing to worry about with Ace crown. Based on past experiences with other companies, we figured they would push back against our complaints, and move on without rectifying the situation. Luckily, that was not the case. One of the most important qualities in any company's owners, is integrity. The owner here stood behind his work, and had a very experienced painter come back to completely redo the high gloss areas that were done incorrectly. It looks beautiful now! He also explained that since this job, they have taken steps to change some of their practices to improve in the future. Every company should take advantage of learning experiences, take accountability for mistakes, and put the customer first. Stubbins Painting is one of those companies. During the application of the first coat I noticed that the paint did not match the sample from the manufacturer. Fabio came out to look at the issue and contacted the paint manufacturer's sales representative to come and see. The next morning the rep saw that there was a discrepancy with the paint color and offered other samples. Once the new samples arrived the decision was made for the new color. Having worked in customer service for over 10 years, I found that surprising and disappointing...there was no effort to retain our business or make things right. We decided to continue with the order since we had already paid. Fast forward about two weeks, and we hadn't received any updates. I called to check in and was told the shipment was still in transit and might arrive by the end of the day. I asked to speak with a manager, and Glenn called me back. To his credit, he acknowledged the earlier interaction and apologized for the delay, but there was still a lack of proactive communication or effort to improve the experience...especially considering we had already, made multiple trips for payment and a partial pickup. Ironically, I received a call just before closing that the rest of the shipment had arrived and would be ready for pickup the next day...but only after I had reached out first. I would still recommend this place for the showroom, selection, and the help we received from Polina. Just be aware that the follow-through and communication may not match that initial experience.

Isaiah Garcia is THE best contractor at Most Valuable Restoration. We had an unfortunate two unrelated house floods in the same year, and he was an amazing advocate for us while navigating our home owners insurance claims and getting what we deserved from our insurance to make the proper repairs. In fact, he fought for us by reporting our insurance company (which involves a ton of paperwork & time) to the appropriate California board just so the insurance would be pushed to fulfill their end of our claim and give the necessary money for repairs. Aside from him taking on and holding the insurance companies accountable, his work is pristine. We had walls torn out, paint matching required, hardwood flooring tear out and new install, new carpet, and a full master bathroom redone. These were all done flawlessly and all details were taken care of in a timely manner. He worked hard to find the design we wanted and offered help wherever we needed guidance with picking out design or materials. His team is also unforgettable. They worked so hard every day and are trust-worthy. Loved our dogs & son & when we had to move out for the repairs to take place, we trusted our valuables in the house with them.
