Somebody's kid went to the bathroom in the pool. So that idea was out. Definitely not the fault of the hotel. Breakfast wasn't bad, I was happy with all the toppings for the oatmeal. *The next day in late afternoon, the pool was back up and running. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

I was in the one bedroom suite and the only issue I have is that it was much nicer than the apartment I live in and I have to go back to real life. Things were clearly recently updated and the area with the grill is really nice at night. I'm traveling for work so I don't get to make my own reservations but I 100% prefer this location.

My BIG problem with this hotel is the SMOKING in the entry ways to the hotel, and this is obviously a smoker's paradise for hotel choices. The entry ways and elevators always smell of strong, stale smoke (especially in the winter when the smokers hover under cover and close to the warmth of the doors). What made it worse is the air freshener used to cover up the smell. THANKFULLY, our room did not smell like smoke! Another BIG miss is the small bathroom with a door that opens INTO the bathroom. For a family with young adult children (and all girls ), this made daily hygiene a well coordinated dance. The parking lot is poorly designed even though there is plenty of parking. And, there are NO diamond spots. It is just awkward because you have to run one-way around the hotel like a race track. The coffee is GOOD, and I was impressed that actually consistently had hot, fresh coffee and tea. The breakfast was OK. Plenty of options. Recommend using the MALT spray on the waffle iron.... It makes the waffles brown and DELISH. The gym is SOLID with variety of machines and a nice rack of dumbbells. The pool is small, but it salt water and great if you have young kids looking for an aqua play place. Unfortunately, no hot tub. This Hilton property gets an ONLY IF THERE ARE NO OTHER OPTIONS. Even the outside furniture looked past its prime. The one positive was there was a complimentary breakfast offered. But even with that bonus I would not stay here again.
