    Sticky residue on blankets.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The worse customer service I have ever seen at a hotel. I said the room had crusty stains on the bed and they practically called me a liar. Never again.

By far this is the better Motel 6 I've seen. This is our second stay here in Payson as my family travel across the US and been staying at other Motel 6 because of their pet policy. This property has been improved by a lot over the years and management are planning to pursue more project to better their property. We will continue to stay here because its always been clean and friendly to my family.

Grabbed this place at the last minute because wasn't sure if we wanted to drive home after the concert. Because this is such a small town mot many places to stay and there are 2 concerts here this weekend at the casino. Because of that rates were jacked up. I glanced at pics on site and thought ok not bad to sleep in. I checked in and right away saw the grounds said it all. I asked where the breakfast would be and he said "there isn't one." I said you charge $200 a night for a Motel 6 and you don't even have continental? He said," it's event weekend. Everyone is charging that or more." I said super 8 was $165 but I missed the last room. So opened the door and just what I expected. No water pressure, no closet, no dresser (you have shelves). Bare bones. I forgot my blow dryer and asked for one and he said "come get it." I said someone can't bring it up? "No. I'm alone." Not staying here or at any other Motel 6 when desperate. I'll sleep in the car or keep driving.

Had booked our stay here for a little over a week to visit with family over Thanksgiving. Immediately walking in the room there was a stale musty odor in the air. Was a very basic room. Unwelcome and uncomfortable feeling. I decided to take a closer look and this is what I found. Dirty tub, dirty and stained towels, soiled dirty pillows and a BOOGER smeared on the wall next to the bed. Repulsed is an understatement! We found somewhere else to stay right away. Was not going to have my family stay in a place like this. AND to top it off, we had to pay for one night. Do not stay here!

I booked this in advance for a smoking room through choice hotel. However when I arrived I was informed I can get a non smoking room for same price. I don't mind smoking outside if need be if I book a non smoking room but this is annoying but I digress. The part that Does get here is that wouldn't a non smoking room be cheaper usually is but whatever. Now as for the room. I will grant that it was very spacious and dig the big bathtub which I'll get to later but as for the separate sink from bathroom which was very spacious as was the bed area. The bad part was the tv would constantly shut down after 2 hours which got very friendly as for the remote wasn't too friendly with the tv either. So it would shut down and you have to do the wait game to start watching again. The major problem of this room was that it was on the corner of the property and it had far too many windows for one room. I counted two on either side of door, two down other wall leading to sink and one on opposite wall closest to sink. Worse is that there was a two inch gap between curtain and window at end giving a vantage point. This means anyone walking by can see your naked visiting self when they walk by. An additional issue I had was that hotel policy is not to put coffee pots in rooms. They do offer coffee in the office at 8 am until it is gone and then that's done That's ridiculous I can solve this problem easily. You buy 2 glass pots for every room on your property. Someone comes in you let them use that pot. Next visitor gets other pot while housekeeping takes pot to washer. Rinse repeat! So why don't I have coffee pot in my room???? I did love the very spacious tub they had and the step they had getting in was nice. I must say though getting out that very step can be hazardous especially if your wet getting out. I'm sorry but I think I'll be finding another hotel in payson too many inconviences!!

    Stains all over

If I could give them zero stars I would but I have to pick at least 1. This place was absolutely disgusting. The front desk clerk was the rudest person. He said no late check out and had to bribe him but he took the 30 bucks for an extra 30 MINUTES when the entire night is 89. And still woke me up. Mind you I had drivin 9 hours and really needed just a little sleep before I had to drive another 7 and he was slamming and screaming for me to leave. I couldn't even sleep under the sheets. I slept fully clothed due to stains and odor. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

So the wife and I drove up-late Saturday night from Phoenix... got here about 830 checked in and showered refreshed went to the casino for dinner came back to the hotel around 11 15 ( paying $200 u would think you could have clean towels and toilet paper in the room especially when u pay that amount just for a bed (witch was just a sponge on a frame) we got back from dinner went to ask for extra towels bc when we arrived the floor towel was soaked from the people b4 us .. (shared the same damn towel bc we wanted to at least get food somewhere) came back went to the office to ask for towels bc we are leaving at 5 to go kayaking in the morning and he told me to fuck off that I wasn't allowed to ask for extra towels bc it was after 9.. then completely petty much treated us like shit... if I could give 0 stars I would... I never collision about anything bc and we travel ALOT but this lil fuckhead is prob the worst owner I have ever dealt with... and that's many trips all over the country and Mexico... save ur money bc the dude is an ass... look at my history I never complain.. it was that bad I did...

I have to admit I have always been Leary about staying at a Motel 6 because I think of it as a crappy motel, but every hotel in Payson was sold out due to a concert we came up to see at the Casino and I booked it. I am glad we did, the Motel itself has been remodeled inside each room to a nice IKEA like style. Out room was clean, the TV was brand new and the beds were nice. I may stay at future Motel 6 when I travel, you can't beat the price! the room even came with a Microwave and mini fridge, the only thing that I wish they included would be little shampoo bottles.

    This water went everywhere

Horrible place to stay for their prices. The front desk person was a royal a-hole. Yelled at my friends who were checking in asking with us. Completely rude. Never had such an unpleasant experience. Water leaked everywhere in the bathroom. Handles falling off all over the place. Soaps were opened and looked used. Do not stay here!!!! His only answer to anything we asked was "that's not possible".

This is the sheets that came with the room that night. Just nasty!

Booked the room hours before arrival with only past experiences guiding my choices. We booked a queen room with two queen beds, photos showed a fireplace as well... I mean winter in Payson Az demands a fireplace... right? Done... booked... on our way. We arrived just before dinner. Once we pulled up, you see a quaint looking mountain hotel escape with one large two story building and several connecting little cottage looking rooms. The manager who checked us in (please forgive me for forgetting his name) had been very accommodating with our requests for more blankets and a lower level room. He also recommended the local pizza restaurant for dinner within walking distance. Our room was adorable and large! Two queen beds, a couch, fireplace and large vanity area with plenty of space for four. The beds were so comfortable and with the fireplace only, left us with a very cozy evening. Almost felt like you were in a secluded cabin in the woods. Also, I won't forget to mention, breakfast was included! Eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, biscuits, and gravy... so much to choose from. My husband has decided that this will be our "go-to" in Payson from now on. Thanks Majestic Mountain Inn for making our adventure more memorable! See you next time! I apologize for not having any Photos but we were too busy taking in the ambience of this town and making memories, I didn't even think to grab my phone.

This place was not worth the money whatsoever. When we first checked in, I let the front desk agent…read moreknow that we had a service dog with us. No questions asked, she simply said okay. I had a really rough week, and so I booked a more expensive suite with a jacuzzi tub in it. Upon entering the room, we were impressed with the size, but quickly our optimism diminished.... the tub was gross. All of the grout around the tub had huge gaps and cracks where the grout was falling off into the tub. The toiletries were minimal. The shower had a shampoo and conditioner bottle attached to the wall, but no body soap and nothing to bathe in the tub with. I didn't bring toiletries, assuming these would be provided, so unfortunately I wasn't even able to utilize my upgrade. This was actually the least of my worries. We went to to pull out the sofa bed for my kids.... absolutely disgusting! There were huge yellow stains all over the mattress that looked like urine. Not even sure how this passed housekeeping standards. Photos attached. The room had a nasty smell, stains in the carpets and on the sofa, and overall just disgusting. The final straw was when I walked my small dachshund (registered service animal) downstairs to exit the lobby. I had my hands full of personal items, so my son was walking him on a leash. As we exited the lobby, there was a few guests downstairs, and my service animal barked a bit as we walked by. Nothing aggressive or unruley whatsoever! Simply a bark. My son was able to control him, and there was nothing to be concerned about. He wasnt pulling on the leash or charging at anyone, simply walking with my son towards the exit as he excitedly expressed a bark. The lobby agent rudely yelled "maam!! You cant have your dog in here!" I had my hands full and told her that id be right back to speak with her, and she continued to yell, "you cant have your dog in here! Whats your room number!!" At this point, is was offended by her actions and decided that I would take a few minutes to calm down rather than walk back inside. So, after about 20 minutes I called the front desk. I asked her how I would go about requesting a refund on my room, since we still had reservations through tomorrow. She rudely asked why and asked for my room number. I then told her I was the lady with the service animal, and that she rudely discriminated against me instead of asking the proper questions to determine IF my dog was a properly trained animal. Instead, she got extremely defensive and lied, telling me that my dog charged at the person in the lobby, and that there's no way my dog could ever be a service animal... um, no. This isn't how it works lady. You don't get to assume my dog isn't qualified. Nor do you have the right to lie and say my dog is aggressive when he clearly wasn't. She then said she has cameras, and I said great! I'd love to show your manager the footage to prove you wrong. What's your name? ... crickets..... okay, let me speak to your manager.... she hangs up. So, I call back. I instantly get an attitude, and am told that she's the front desk manager now. Okay, awesome! What's your name so that I can tell priceline who i spoke with to get a refund due to discrimination, unprofessional staff, and disgusting rooms... she refuses. Okay, what's your managers name? I need to speak with someone that can provide me with a name, someone who has the professional capabilities to speak with a concerned customer... again, hangs up. This is absolutely unacceptable!!! I have full documentation showing my animal is a fully trained service animal. My son is a diabetic, and my 3 year old dachshund has been through rigorous training to be a diabetic detection animal, that can show signs of alert when my son's blood sugar is at a risky level. Per law, I do not have to go into detail of my son's condition, nor do I need to show documentation, but this woman was completely unprofessional and discriminatory, and ive pursued a claim with corporate. I really hope she loses her job because I will NEVER stay at a choice hotel again
