Well, for STARTERS I was expecting a nice welcoming room that just says "hello!" But did I get that? Hell.no. It was unkept! There was bugs! The employee was in denial! And also! Why that shade of wall paint? Not really necessary but it was off putting. Felt like I was gonna be in a Netflix original.

2 FULL beds.... Not even Queens

Where to even start. My family of 4 booked this hotel for a almost 4wk stay due to relocating to the area for my husband's work. So we wanted something that would allow dogs & not cost a ton while looking for housing. Apparently that was the wrong thing to be worried about. On our 2nd or 3rd day there, I was verbally attacked by another guest of the hotel while out walking our dogs with our kids. I was alone with them as my husband was at work. After yelling at the man to leave us alone & not getting any assistance from the motel staff that was apparently standing around the corner from us, we went back to our room, only to receive a phone call from the front desk stating that I would be forcibly removed by the police if I wanted to continue to attack other guests! She didn't ask what happened or why I was yelling at the man, only stated I would be taken away, even after telling her I didn't start the ordeal & was out there with my kids being attacked... she then tried to tell me no one was attacking my children & she saw everything on her cameras... I guarantee she didn't hear anything that was being said to us. The man was not removed & proceeded to sit in his vehicle for our entire stay on a daily basis, just watching everything we did. The only reason we didn't move out that day was because of other hotel availability & the options available for people with more than 2 dogs for long term stays. Now on to the "quality" of the room.... Also lacking. Even the faux wood floors were separated & would catch the bottom of your feet if you weren't thinking about it. The shower stall was barely large enough for my 7yr old to shower properly, if you turned around in it, the shower curtain would flop over the edge of the shower & start to flood the room. The towels that were in the room had hair all over them, we ended up digging our own out of our packed boxes to use since you couldn't guarantee we could get new ones even every other day... even after calling ahead like we were told to do. I also ended up buying our own toilet paper to have on hand because each time I went to get more I was told we were only allowed one roll at a time.... For a room with 4 people in it?! No thanks. In general the room was just tiny & not as pictured online. (Definitely under 200sqft). We had to also screw the top lock back onto the door. Oh and we also had to buy extra pillows to use when we realized one of our sets got left in a storage unit 5hrs away & the motel was unable to provide any spares. There's not even a coffee maker provided & the fridge was beyond tiny. I could continue, but bottom line, if you plan to stay more than a night or 2, don't bother. And be aware that there are some extremely questionable people staying in the hotel on a regular basis.

These are big rooms! Can't believe it was 50 bucks. Nice flat screens and wood floors. It's right across from Bridgeport village and tons of food options. Cabella is one exit south. Staff is great and free coffee in office during mornings.

This is the *WEST* Motel 6.

I stayed two separate nights since this place, WEST Motel 6, did the trick. It was $54.99/night in June 2013. I did not use the Wifi at a $2.99 charge since I pay for Internet on my iPad. I had full "bars" on my devices since it is right off the I-5 interstate. Motel 6 is pet friendly with NO fees for a dog, no questions about a dog. The West Motel 6 is in a safe part of town, easy access to freeway, right next to Burger King and 1/2 block from other food and gas businesses. The Bridgeport Mall is on the other side of the freeway, if memory serves, and Fred Meyer (like a Super Target) is one exit down towards Salem. New to town? Make Fred Meyer your friend! They sell food, sunglasses, clothes, whatever you forgot or need. There are two separate Motel 6 businesses across the street from one another. One says WEST (this one), and one says EAST (the other). WEST is a hotel style with three floors, EAST is a motel style where you can drive your car right up to the door of an assigned room. West is on the freeway side (noise was minimal, but I do have a sound machine) in between a newly (?) remodeled Burger King and "Stars". East has a laundromat on site with access with a "key" (room key). West does NOT have guest laundry on site.....but the next exit down (#289?) the freeway towards Salem (away from Portland) has a good laundromat with everything you would ever need including a pin ball machine, TV, recycling bins, bathroom - and a Fred Meyer across the street! East seems to be where truckers go because the parking lot has room for their rigs. West seems to be more for regular people with cars. I was quite happy here. The staff were good at helping me, they have ice machines and vending machines, windows were open regularly I assume to air the place out since it is a very wet region. They were carpet cleaning when I left one day and keep the place very clean. I would definitely stay again!

The only negatives are the $17 parking fee, for parking on their unsecured lot each day, and that we were not advised that the maid service was only every other day. The "tipping just got easier"placard clearly visible on the coffee table in our room was quite ironic, as we had to call for towels when we returned to our room last evening and it took over half an hour and two phone calls to receive them. Staff are friendly. Breakfast buffet is extensive and includes everything from cold cereal to a made-to-order omelettes. There's also a restaurant on site that offers an upscale menu. Hotel itself is clean and comfortable, with the main courtyard on the first floor open to the rooms rising up several stories. Happy hour and some breakfast busy times can be a little noisy as we were on the second floor, but it wasn't anything that was unbearable. In addition, there's a mall nearby and a Target store across the street if you need to pick up other snacks or maybe something you forgot to pack. All in all, a comfortable stay and we would stay here again when in the area.

Room air conditioning took a good couple days to really cool down. Towels are scratchy and in desperate need of replacement. Light fixtures and A/C vent in the bathroom are visibly rusty. Bed is reasonably comfortable, though --no complaints there. WiFi is painfully slow (10 Mbps down/up) and there are no LAN connections in the room. Parking is tight, with not a lot of spaces for such a large property. I can't imagine what it's like trying to park here when the convention center is in use.

The EV charger is inside the garage near the elevators, which would normally be convenient, but the vendor charges by the hour, not by kWh. That means if you plug in at the wrong time, you either have to come back down to unplug and move before it's done or pay overnight overage fees -- not ideal for travelers. Check‑in was quick and easy, but they didn't follow my request for a high floor, end‑of‑hall room. Instead, I was placed in a handicap‑accessible room with a connecting door, and the soundproofing was basically nonexistent. I could hear the guests next door as if they were in the same room. I called down immediately, and to their credit, they moved me to the fourth floor, which is what I originally asked for. The second room was better, but still not great. There was mold in the corners of the shower, and the carpet and couch were a bit dirty. For a hotel that's only a few years old, it's already showing noticeable wear, and I'm not confident it's going to age well. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, and I slept well. The free breakfast was acceptable -- the waffles were great (Hampton Inn always nails those), but the powdered eggs and sliced sausage weren't very tasty. Overall, it's an okay stay, but between the parking confusion, EV charging inconvenience, room issues, and early signs of wear, it didn't quite meet expectations.

Our room was spacious and well kept. The beds were comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and it was nice having a mini fridge and microwave. It was also surprisingly quiet at night, so we all slept well. Breakfast is included, which was a nice bonus. They had eggs, fruit, coffee, "make your own" waffles, and a few other options--simple but convenient before heading out. Overall, a solid, comfortable place to stay in the Tigard area. I'd definitely stay here again.

The loveseat in my room may have been used one too many times based on its namesake, so the pleather is piled and has holes. The staff tried to cover it up, but the couch cover is also looking old and ratty. I've seen nicer couches in fraternity houses back in college. Upon entering my room, I was greeted with a high pitch sound emitting from the refrigerator. I was able to move it around so that it wasn't so loud, but I was tempted to unplug it entirely so that I didn't have to listen to that noise all night. The staff here were nice enough to put two bottles of free water in the room because we are Hilton Honors members. We also received two warm chocolate chip cookies upon check-in. That was a nice touch. However, if I had my choice, I would forgo the food and beverage for a quiet fridge and a newer couch. November in Oregon is beautiful. The leaves are changing colors. We have a lovely tree showing off leaves of red and gold just outside our window. Sadly, we also overlook a busy road. The traffic is quite noisy, especially for a Saturday afternoon. Thankfully it settled down during the night so we were able to get some rest. The hotel serves a hot breakfast but it is NOT included with the room. The breakfast is $15 per adult per day. It is the equivalent of what you would get at a Best Western where the breakfast IS included at no extra cost. The buffet includes hit items like bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, a small omelette, potato wedges, biscuits and gravy. There is also a waffle machine where you can make your own waffle in less than 3 minutes. There are a variety of breads and a toaster. The mini fridge has butter and cream cheese. I especially loved that they had a variety of freshly cut fruit each day including strawberries, blueberries, grapes, cantaloupe, honeydew, and watermelon. A bowl of delicious nonfat yogurt was available in the fruit tray as well. If you are in a hurry, you could also grab an apple and/or and orange for the road. The breakfast hours vary slightly between the weekend and weekdays, but they will tell you at checkin and there is a sign posted with the information at the entrance of the dining room. There are restaurants and stores nearby. You can walk, but we carpooled with friends when going out. I think there was a daily parking fee too. They nickel and dine you for everything here. Although our stay was pleasant enough, I would not choose this hotel again. Best Western is the same mediocre quality, but everything is usually included in the cost of the room.
