It was the worst hotel we ever been to. Our door to our room was a safety hazard (would not close easily and when you tried to enter the room you had to pretty much body slam the door to get it open). God forbid there is a fire you would never get out. The owner was drinking and very confrontational and used nasty language to my husband. He told us we were not following policy because my husband did not have his shirt on outside in the back of the hotel, so my husband went in and put a shirt on and complied to his demand that we were not following policy so we asked for a copy of the policies and he got confrontational and said they don't have a list and said we were to leave the hotel. It may be the only hotel in Myerstown, Pa but I would recommend going somewhere else.

When I entered the room their was giant cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, and gaint stains on the floor. We asked for another room, and it was the same as the first. This reminder me of a horror show. The place smell like a combination of fish, mildew, cigerates. What topped it off for me was the toliet had black stains on it, and it was disgusting. The next morning we supposed to get a contential breakfast( if that what you would call it). The breakfast was as horrible as the place they had bread, some fruit, cereal, and package mini pastries. They did have orange juice but it was frozen. Their was a waffle machine and a batter machine, but it didn't work. I was so glad to get out of the Rodeway Inn. I will absolutely not be returning to this place ever; unless you want a horror show experience.

I believe there is a very long curb not marked with emergency paint available. I did use Hilton app to check in about two hours before my arrival. Upon my arrival there was not an electronic key on my app. The young lady at front desk helped me out immediately giving me a couple physical cards. This location is still offering cookies in the afternoon as well as the 24hr. coffee bar. Our room was cooled and clean upon arrival. There was an oversized refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available. Bathroom was clean with hand soap and body lotion on wall in pump containers. There were also pump containers in curtained shower of shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Water was hot and shower head was adjustable. I selected a room on the side of building which faced busy highway not knowing how the hotel was oriented. Because of the extra ridges on roadway I heard trucks going by almost all night. I know better if in area again. My wife and I both felt the bed was a little firm. We prefer softer. Breakfast was a step up from other Hampton's we have stayed in. First, there was packages of honey at coffee bar 24/7 for my wife's tea. For breakfast there is a carafe of infused water with fruit, packages of good salsa for the omelet, cinnamon flavored waffle batter, and an upgraded pastry selection. I did use first floor restroom which was clean and stocked with a nice heavy paper towel. I would stay here again if traveling thru area.

Everything I imagined a bed and breakfast should be from the bed to the cozy towels. The inn keepers were super nice and the homemade breakfast both days was awesome. I found the Adamstown Inn online, and it was reasonably priced, the photos didn't look like Great Aunt Gertrude's parlor, and every room had an en-suite fireplace (my one stipulation). We stayed 2 nights in the Topaz room at the Amethyst Inn. It was amazing. The Amethyst Inn is a big, old (but beautifully maintained) Victorian home, converted into the Inn. Our room was equal parts Victoriana (joie de vie wallpaper and a very ornate cast iron fireplace) and Country - beautiful antique oak furniture. The queen sized featherbed was luxurious and we slept like babies. The bathroom was updated, immaculate and the jacuzzi was amazing. Breakfast was to die for. Four courses each morning of fantastic, unique home cooked goodness. Everything was so fresh and amazing. Their coffee was great (and endless) as well! The staff was wonderful and warm, but not intrusive. They were incredibly thoughtful. Every day there was a small gift waiting for us on the bed, and when we left they gave us snacks for the road! It snowed overnight the 2nd night, and they even cleaned our car off for us before we woke up. This place is first rate, gourmet, beautifully decorated and it is a wonderful respite away from Philadelphia. We, much like The Terminator, will be back.

They're even more spacious than they seem in the photos. The place is absolutely gorgeous. I guess it's old Victorian decor. They have flat screens in all the rooms and just huge comfy beds. Awesome fluffy pillows and everything you could want in a place. It's worth the extra couple of dollars to not have to stay at the travel dump. It's within walking distance of a few bars and restaurants, Lebanon Valley College, a small movie theater and the Annville library (a favorite place for me as a kid). It's a few miles outside of Hershey and I'd highly recommend it as a place to stay if you're looking to come into the area for whatever reason. Amber, the innkeeper was fabulous. She took great care of us and anticipated our needs. She set out umbrellas for us to use when the weather seemed rainy and answered all of our questions. Great conversation, lovely garden in the back with a koi pond. The breakfast was solid. I took some pictures, check em out. There was also a baked grapefruit, something I never had but was really impressed with. And don't sleep on the banana nut muffin. It looks like it's out of a boxed recipe but that was easily one of the top 5 muffins I've had my whole life. My wife loved the place so much that I can guarantee we'll be back all the way from California. :)

The house is absolutely gorgeous, the environment is very comfortable, and extremely clean. Amber the Inn Keeper is friendly and treats you like family, and the food is delicious. Highly recommend!!!!! Pros: Beautiful house and atmosphere, wonderful accommodations, comfortable, delicious food. Cons: B&B sits on Main Street so traffic can sometimes be noisy, although this isn't the Inns fault, this house has been here since the late 1800's. I would recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone.
