This week, a machine ate my money and I watched my clothes do nothing as the washing cycle commenced. It finally spun after the rinse cycle, and when it ended I had soapy clothes. I don't think they believed me. The attendant showed up shortly after and said they'd run it and I'll hear back about a refund. It didn't happen yet. I ended up rewashing in a different machine. They are a little expensive compared to the other laundromat, but it's clean and mostly comfortable. I just had a bad experience, but that doesn't mean it's terrible.

He only asked my last name when I dropped of a coat and didn't give me a claim ticket. I asked if he had my info, and he seemed irritated and assured me that he did, as if it was a dumb question. I went to pick it up and gave him my name. He typed something in the computer and said "nope", and stood there like he was expecting me to leave. After some back and forth, with him obviously getting impatient, he found it. I won't have that problem again!

Though a bit complicated to get started, Claire greeted me when I walked in, and walked me through purchasing credits, choosing the right machine, and hooking up to wifi so I could work. She greeted everyone as they entered and checked on people while she cleaned the machines. A fantastic gal. This was the nicest and cleanest laundromat I've ever been in with clean, comfortable seating and lots of folding tables. They also have a wash and fold service that I'm sure to take advantage of in the future.
