It was such a pleasure! In such a vulnerable time when you may not feel entirely like yourself; or how the world can be so loud with "bounce back" culture .... She made me see myself as strong, powerful, resilient! & also soft, beautiful & my children's safest place!!!! If you're ever looking for a doula, birth photographer, or like me a special breastfeeding session she is amazing! It was comfortable, she brought some beautiful energy to my home & in seeing these reminded me how truly remarkable women are ANYWAYS, TAKE ALL THE PICTURES, I promise you will treasure them one day. When I met Martha for the first time I immediately felt a "click" and decided to go on my journey of labor with her. She is extremely knowledgeable and most important she is caring. I knew I can trust her experience. She always had right words for me to encourage and find peace of mind. During the labor all I wanted is to follow right guidance and not to worry about anything. Martha was perfect -- she knew exactly when was the time for epidural, she kept tracking on how things are going and when it was time to start pushing. They always check up on you and are so friendly and compassionate. Sandra has been our doula, and she is simply amazing, so helpful, friendly, and trustworthy. We have had absolutely no hesitation to leave our newborn in her care both overnight and during the day since our baby's birth. We got the Elite package, which comes with 104 hours of in person doulas coming to your home (5+ hours during day or 8+ hours night - whatever you need) and 3 postpartum massages with some beauty items. But they have all kinds of packages to choose from, or you can do an hourly rate as well if you want to try it out. This was a lifesavior with us being first-time parents who were clueless about newborns, and it helped us keep our sanity, especially at night time!! We also got loads of in person practice and advice in our home. If you need support, whether before or after birth, I highly recommend the Orchid's nest!

Don't do it without them!…read more I'm luckily enough to have known about the Orchid Nest before getting pregnant so once I was it was so easy to contact them and scheduling was so easy through Karen! She got me put into the classes my partner and I wished to take as well as got me scheduled for an amazing (and very needed) pre natal massage. Lorie taught our hypnobirthing class and though I knew what I was getting into, she was an incredible informative teacher and so patient with ALL of my husbands questions (and let me tell you... he had a lot). As with all of their classes, you leave with an intentional plan as well as the knowledge of alternatives and ALL options which I found really helpful. I did choose to have a doula present for my birth and to be honest, we don't plan on doing it again without her! There are a lot of choices to make before, during and after birth and we can't thank the Orchid Nest enough for their support throughout the journey that changed our lives!

AND the vaccination policy is not in the best interest of YOUR child or individualized but rather they apply the old CDC guidelines with no exceptions. No flexibility in timeline or selection of vaccinations. Very disappointed in how they presented themselves on their website and when you google search "holistic" pediatricians they are at the top of the search. meaning, they probably paid for the search engine optimization to pull them when searching for holistic.

My daughter wanted to add some rock band patches to her jean jacket and they took care of it with great skill and without any issues. One downside, parking can be wonky at times. Sometimes people double park right out front and block the road and/or the spots on the side get tied up by the school out back or random trucks. It's a bit annoying. Mother Earth diaper service has been everything it's advertised to be and I have felt thoroughly gratified by the decision to diaper our bundle of joy in clean, soft, natural cotton cloth. It's obviously more of a process but before long you're a pro. The thicker (than disposable) cloth diaper (plus cover) adds stability when holding baby, and somehow remains cooler on her skin. The statistically likely possibility of early potty training is all the more affirming that the old-fashioned way is better for baby. The owner, Mia, was rather accommodating the three or four times I had schedule or product requests. I highly recommend trying cloth diapering with Mother Earth if you are environmentally conscious and willing to try something different for your baby's benefit. read more

My very close friend was interested in cloth diapering, although she didn't want to deal with the whole process of washing them herself. I began to search around for cloth diaper services around the South Florida Area, since back home where I'm from there's a bunch around the city. I later found out that Mother Earth Diaper Service is the ONLY cloth diaper service that delivers to all of south Florida, from Miami to Palm Beach. I quickly got into contact with Jessica, who was extremely helpful and very friendly. I was able to gift my close friend six months worth of cloth diapers delivery service as a baby shower gift, at a very decent price and the convenience that she was looking for! Love the customer service. I've been a customer since 2017, and was about to leave until I met the new owner, Kamilah. She is very friendly and extremely helpful with diaper care and the ancillary products. (The service is so much better with the new owner with new services and friendly and helpful staff). ...and the delivery service is the best when we have so many things to keep track of. The demo was done about a month before our daughter was born so of course, my memory didn't work so well once she arrived; but Jessica was readily available to give us a refresher over the phone, answer any questions and make any suggestions to help us along. Mother Earth is great! I like using cloth diapers because they are better for my baby's skin, and they don't go in landfills. Before my baby's belly button fell off, I noticed that disposable diapers cut into her and made her bleed, but cloth diapers did not. Although cloth diapers are more of an effort than disposable, it didn't take long at all to get the process down. Mia is a patient and very good teacher! read more

Also, I was clearly told there would be no fittings for my wedding dress -- so it's confusing to now see claims about multiple fittings being standard. That was not what I was offered. For comparison, I went to a larger, cleaner, more established alterations studio and was quoted $900 WITH fittings included for similar work. Meanwhile, I was quoted $1,600 here WITHOUT fittings. That price difference speaks for itself. I'm sharing this so other brides understand exactly what they may be quoted versus what's actually included because transparency matters, especially this close to a wedding.

The day they were suppose to be ready (a week later) they called to say they would not be ready until noon. OK, went at 12:45 and they not even been started yet. I said, "It's a simple hem", I was informed that they get hundreds of hems a week. That is not a reason for them to not have items ready when promised. I took my pants and left. Good for them, hope their hundreds of hems keep them in business because they have lost me as a customer forever. Will never go back.
