Being a person who loves a good road trip and has been to many of the states, this isn't my favorite gas station, but Loves Travel Centers definitely has a special place in my heart. While I would consider this spot average, I will continue to stop here once to twice a year when needed.

By happenstance I happen to be on my way back to Chicago and this location was right next door to a gas station that was fueling up at. It's a great location since it's next to the highway and has easy access to the streets. This location is a smaller size but it features everything that I was looking for at a health food store like my energy drinks and a bunch of great snacks that are on sale for a great price. They were even giving me a free vegetable plant to take home too that I actually plan on using in my cocktails with! The restrooms here were also very clean. Staff was friendly, and the aisles were well stocked. There was even a great clearance section too in the back of the store. Overall I highly recommend coming here!

They have a good selection of hot food, which I was surprised by (even though maybe I shouldn't have been) since it was in a small town (but I am now realizing most small town spots would have hot food from personal travels). Lots of drinks, both alcoholic and not. Multiple aisles were filled to the brim with bagged snacks and the single stall bathroom (for men and women) was clean. So many complaints spots but not positive feedback! Moving on to Ally wow what a wonder customer service attendant. Being in customer service for 30 years and in management I was so impressed. She performed her job well with no complaint! Most importantly she welcomed me coming in the door smiled and assisted me in finding what I came in for. It's so important to make people feel welcomed especially since she was the first person I seen after waking and leaving my hotel. She assured I had everything I needed and because of her I didn't need to stop anywhere else on my trip home. I did let Ms Ally know how very greatful and how appreciative I was to feel so important at a gas station. She is an example of what customer service should represent.
